Cowboy Ninja Viking: Chris Pratt Comic Book Movie Postponed

Universal's Cowboy Ninja Viking comic book movie starring Chris Pratt has been delayed.

Collider reports the studio has pulled the project from its release schedule and it will no longer hit theaters on June 28, 2019.

However, the film is still in active development, as Universal reportedly did not want to rush the movie to meet its release date. The movie will be redated at a later time.

Pratt, Priyanka Chopra, and director Michelle MacLaren are still attached to the movie, which is an adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo.

Destiny 2: Year 2 Changes – What We Know About Weapons, Mods, and Abilities

Bungie has released new information on how weapons, mods, and abilities will be changing in the coming weeks.

During today's Destiny 2: Forsaken Combat Stream, Bungie confirmed some of these updates will take effect August 28, and the rest will be added when Forsaken comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 4. More details will be revealed at Gamescom and PAX, later this year.

Overall time-to-kill is being reduced, with weapon and ability damage being increased accordingly. Body damage and precision damage will be increased, and two consecutive melee hits will now kill a Guardian at full health. Shoulder charge, shield bash, and hammer strike abilities will also become one-hit kills.

Plain White T’s Song ‘Hey There Delilah’ Is Becoming a TV Series (Yes, Really)

The Plain White T's biggest hit might soon turn into a romantic drama series.

Per THR, the band's popular song "Hey There Delilah," which centers on a long-distance relationship, is being eyed for a TV adaptation. Lively McCabe Entertainment and Primary Wave will work with the band to develop the potential show.

"Hey There Delilah" originally appeared on Plain White T's All That We Needed

Plain White T's frontman and songwriter Tom Higgenson, and writer Jeremy Desmon, will be among the producers pitching the series to several networks later this month. If ordered, the show will expand the story within the song about a singer-songwriter and a New York City university student, and their long-distance flirtation.

MoviePass Announces Its First Original Production Starring Bruce Willis

MoviePass' first original production is a thriller starring Bruce Willis.

Per Deadline, the movie is titled 10 Minutes Gone and hails from MoviePass Films, a production subsidiary which recently launched this year.

Brian A. Miller (Reprisal) will direct from a screenplay penned by Kelvin Mao and Jeff Jingle. Meadow Williams, Swen Temmel, Tyler Jon Olson, and Sergio Rizzuto will star alongside Willis.

The story follows a man who gets hit by a stray bullet after a bank heist goes wrong. As a result, he loses ten minutes of his memory and must remember who sabotaged the heist. Meanwhile, a powerful crime boss (portrayed by Willis) is determined to recover the money.

Destiny 2 Year 2 Lets You Customize The Way You Play

Bungie revealed new changes to its combat system for Year 2 of Destiny 2 in a live stream Tuesday, hosted by Communications Director at Bungie, David Dague.

Dague was joined by Sandbox Design Lead Josh Hamrick and Senior Sandbox Designers Claude Jerome and Greg Peng.

The main focus for the new changes in Year 2 is to let players customize their own gameplay. To do this, Bungie added in weapon balance and tuning, new mods, and the addition of nine new super abilities along with associated perks for them.

“We looked at year one and saw what people were saying and how the game is being played," Hamrick said. "We wanted to give players more options to specifically tweak and tune their loadout on how they wanted to play.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home Casts Nick Fury’s Samuel L. Jackson

Nick Fury and Maria Hill will feature in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Vulture reports the Spidey sequel has cast Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill. However, there's no word yet on how large of a role the pair will have in the film, as both characters did perish at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

Jackson and Smulders join a cast which includes the returning Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Tony Revolori. Jake Gyllenhaal will also reportedly portray the villain, Mysterio, while Michael Keaton's Vulture may be returning as well.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Will Be the Last Marvel Movie Released On Netflix

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the last Marvel film to come to Netflix.

Per the New York Times, Disney and Netflix's licensing deal will end with the Ant-Man sequel. Starting with Captain Marvel, every movie Disney releases in theaters will only come to its own streaming service instead of Netflix.

However, for now, Marvel shows such as Jessica Jones and Daredevil will still remain on Netflix, a spokeswoman for Disney informed the New York Times.

Disney's streaming service is set to premiere in 2019 with a variety of new series and films, including a pricey live-action Star Wars show from Jon Favreau. However, the platform won't be offering R-rated content of any kind.
