Bond 25 Loses Director Danny Boyle
EON Productions officially announced Tuesday that Danny Boyle will no longer direct James Bond 25.
The official 007 Twitter account posted the following message from the producers and star of the film: "Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25."
Boyle was to have segued from the Richard Curtis-scripted musical comedy he's currently making right into Bond 25.
While the specifics of these "creative differences" weren't immediately clear, it was known that Boyle's Trainspotting screenwriter John Hodge was writing a script.separate from one that was being developed by Bond franchise regulars Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. It was previously reported Boyle would only move forward with Bond 25 if EON and MGM approved Hodge's script.
First Look at Spyro Reignited Trilogy’s Spyro 3 Levels Revealed
Activision has released 11 new screenshots for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and has given us our first look at Spyro's third installment, Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
The new images show off three levels - Cloud Spires, Sheila's Alp, and Sunny Villa - from the remastered version of 2000's Spyro: Year of the Dragon that debuted on the original PlayStation.
The images from Sheila's Alp show off a comparison of the new and older versions of Year of the Dragon.
In addition, Activision has shown off two levels - Magma Cone and Winter Tundra - from the second Spyro adventure, 1999's Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!
The Division 2 Collector’s Editions Unveiled
Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is getting Standard, Gold, Digital Ultimate and two Collector's editions, all available for pre-order now.
Those who pre-order the game, regardless of edition, will gain access to the game's Private Beta (the dates for which have not yet been announced) and the Capitol Defender Pack. This pack includes two in-game items: The Lullaby SPAS-12 shotgun, and the Hazmat 2.0 outfit.
The Standard Edition of the game is just that: the game itself, with the aforementioned pre-order bonuses. The Gold Edition includes three-day early access to the game starting on March 12. It also includes the Year One Pass, which grants players seven-day early access to the free Year One DLC Episodes, which will include customization items, new activities and more. The Gold Edition on Ubisoft's website includes a steelbook case and runs $110 US.
Dark Souls Trilogy for PS4, Xbox One Announced
The Dark Souls Trilogy has been announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and has been given an October release date.
Priced at $80 USD, the Dark Souls Trilogy is a three-game compilation featuring Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition packaged in an exclusive steelbook case. The compilation also includes all previously released DLC content.
The Dark Souls Trilogy will be released on Oct. 19, 2018. Physical copies will be available in limited quantities, so you'll need to pre-order the collection to ensure a physical copy at launch.

The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season Is Coming to Nintendo Switch
Telltale Games announced today that it will release The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season on Nintendo Switch on Aug. 28 for $24.99 and will later follow that up by releasing the second and third seasons.
Included in The Complete First Season bundle will be 2012's five original episodes and 2013's 400 Days DLC. Both the initial episodes and the DLC are pulled from 2017's The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which featured graphical and performance upgrades.
The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (the third season) will also be released on Switch later this year. That means Nintendo gamers will have access to the entire series by year's end as Final Season episodes continue to release on Switch alongside PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Soulcalibur 6 Announces Story Mode and New DLC Character
Bandai Namco announced Tuesday the addition of Tira as a new Soulcalibur 6 DLC character and revealed the Libra of Soul story mode.
Libra of Souls is the second announced Soulcalibur 6 story mode and allows players to create a custom fighter. The character creation tool lets players choose from 16 races and a myriad of facial features, body types, hairstyles, weapons, armor, and fighting styles.
Once created, players will take their fighter on a quest to stop "a new evil mastermind" from gathering the Soul Edge shards. Characters from the main storyline, Chronicle of Souls, as well as other players' custom fighters will appear throughout Libra of Souls. Matches in this mode will also have their own specific rules that Bandai Namco says will let players shape their own path.
Until Dawn Creators Reveal The Dark Pictures Horror Anthology
Today at Gamescom 2018, Supermassive Games announced a partnership with Bandai Namco for a new horror anthology series called The Dark Pictures.
The Dark Pictures anthology is a series of standalone horror games and the first game will be called Man of Medan, slated for release on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. Afterwards there will be two games per year in The Dark Pictures series.

Overwatch LEGO Characters Revealed
The long-teased Overwatch/LEGO collaboration looks to be closer than ever, as the building blocks company has hinted at six Overwatch heroes that will likely become figures.
As revealed on Twitter, LEGO has six mystery figures load on screen with a backdrop of a few different Overwatch maps, including the Japan-based Hanamura map. It's possible these will serve as the basic LEGO sets that will eventually be released.
The six figures that come on screen aren't entirely clear, but from left to right they appear to be Widowmaker, Reinhardt (or possibly Reaper or Zenyatta), Genji, Soldier 76, Mercy and McCree.
Star Wars’ Kelly Marie Tran Opens Up About Decision to Leave Social Media
Kelly Marie Tran is opening up about her decision to delete her Instagram earlier this year and the harassment she faced on social media.
In an op-ed for The New York Times, Tran acknowledges the difficulties she has faced on social media since appearing as Rose Tico in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
"It wasn’t their words, it’s that I started to believe them," Tran wrote. "Their words seemed to confirm what growing up as a woman and a person of color already taught me: that I belonged in margins and spaces, valid only as a minor character in their lives and stories."
Xbox Game Pass Mobile App Announced
Today at Gamescom 2018, Microsoft revealed a mobile app for Xbox Game Pass will be available soon.
The Xbox Game Pass mobile app will allow users to manage their Game Pass catalog, install games directly to their Xbox One, and manage their subscription in addition to a number of other features.
If you have an Android mobile app you can test out the beta right now on Google Play. For iOS users, space is limited, but a beta is also available here.
