Jon Favreau has revealed that his live-action Star Wars series will focus on the Mandalorians.
A graphic shared on the Iron Man director's Instagram revealed that the series will take place after the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, and will center on a "lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy."
"After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett," read the graphic, "another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic..."

Where the Leaked Harry Potter Game Could Fit in the Series’ Timeline
With the leaked Harry Potter RPG footage that circulated on Tuesday, fans of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World have been in a whirlwind of curiosity over what it could mean for the series.
A description attached to the video footage said the game would be, “Set in the 19th Century (1800’s) Wizarding World."
Until recently, with Fantastic Beasts taking place in the 1920s, the main timeline of Harry Potter has been focused around the mid-1900s to today. Harry Potter was born in the year 1980, and his parents -- Lily and James Potter -- were born in 1960.
Everything I Got Wrong About Red Dead 2’s Story
After obsessively picking through each of the trailers for Red Dead Redemption 2 as they trickled out over the past year or so, I thought I had a pretty good handle on how things were going to unfold for Arthur, Dutch, and the rest of their band of not-so-merry misfits. I still do, for the most part, but after getting to see the first four hours of the game, I’m glad to say that I was dead wrong on some of the “how’s” of our antiheroes getting from A to B.
WARNING: MINIMAL STORY SPOILERS FOR THE OPENING OF RDR2 BELOW, PLUS SOME HEFTY SPECULATION.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6: Chelsea Peretti Set to Exit
Chelsea Peretti, who has portrayed Gina Linetti for the past five seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Fox, will exit the show during Season 6 - but she will probably return as the character in future episodes.
Announced by Peretti on Twitter, she made the send-off in the most Gina way possible: by quoting the letter Emmy Rossum wrote when she announced she was leaving Shameless last month, bolding “relevant" parts like “I taught Emma to shave her legs” and “I tirelessly prepped the audition with my coach Terry Knickerbocker.” The full quoted letter can be found here.
Disney Developing Live-Action Lilo and Stitch Remake
It looks like Lilo & Stitch will be receiving a live-action/CG hybrid remake along the lines of previously released Disney remakes like The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news saying Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, the producers working on the live-action remake of Aladdin, will be producing this film as well. Ryan Halprin is also set to co-produce.
Mike Van Waes has been brought on to write the remake’s script and is also set to write the upcoming Conjuring spinoff The Crooked Man. The 2002 original was written and directed by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders.
