American Gods Season 2 Will Visit Two Key Book Locations (and the Past!)
American Gods author Neil Gaiman joined the cast of Starz's fantasy drama at New York Comic Con to share some tidbits about Season 2 (and avoid any mention of the rumored behind-the-scenes shakeup that is reported to have sidelined new showrunner Jesse Alexander).
Gaiman revealed that the Season 2 premiere will pick up "just a few short hours
, and everything is going to get both better and worse. The first place we’re all headed is the House on the Rock, and they closed down the real House on the Rock for several days and let us film there."
Bungie Announces Gambit Changes, Forsaken Exotics and Festival of the Lost Start Date
A slew of changes are coming to Destiny 2: Forsaken this month, including a welcome nerf to Sleeper Simulant in Gambit, a tweak to the Malfeasance quest, and de facto nerfs to Edge Transit drop rates.
Bungie detailed the 2.0.4 and 2.0.5 updates, which are currently planned for Oct. 16 and Oct. 30, and will include changes to Gambit mode, boosted spawn rates for the Ascendant Primeval Servitor, weapon damage tweaks, and more.

The Festival of the Lost is making a return Oct. 16, and details are scheduled to be revealed next week.
Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage Says Final Season ‘Ends Beautifully’ for His Character
Peter Dinklage, who has played Tyrion Lannister for all seven seasons of Game of Thrones, says the eighth and final season “ends beautifully” for his character.
Dinklage revealed this in a red carpet interview with ET, saying not only is his own ending notable, but the whole show’s ending is brilliant.
"There are no better writers in television than Dan Weiss and David Benioff,” said Dinklage. "They ended it brilliantly. Better than I could have imagined and you people are in for it. It ends beautifully for my character whether it be tragic or not."
‘The Forge’ Is Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s First DLC Release
Square Enix has announced the first of seven DLC packs for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Titled The Forge, the DLC will be released on Nov. 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as part of the season pass and sold separately for $4.99 USD.
In the DLC, players will explore the lava-covered titular Forge to uncover secrets and learn more about a friend of Lara Croft's ancient legacy.
The new challenge tomb can be played in either solo or co-op mode and completing it will reward players with the Grenadier skill, Brocken outfit, and Umbrage 3-80 weapon.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider's six other pieces of DLC will release monthly in the subsequent months following November. Square Enix said they'll include more new tombs, items, modes, and narrative side quests.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Early Access Content Revealed for PS4
Sony has revealed some of the 30-day early-access content coming to those who purchase Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 and it includes an outfit, horse, saddle, and a revolver.
Announced on the PlayStation Blog, the first item, the Grizzlies Outlaw Outfit, will be available for use in the story mode at the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26, 2018.
When Red Dead Online launches in November, the outfit, as well as the Red Chestnut Arabian Horse, Alligator Skin Ranch Cutter Saddle, and High Roller Double-Action Revolver will be available for PlayStation 4 exclusively for 30 days.

Gamers who want to catch up on Kingdom Hearts' complex storyline ahead of 2019's Kingdom Hearts 3 will get the chance to do so later this month.
Square Enix and Disney today announced Kingdom Hearts – The Story So Far, a nine-game compilation coming to PlayStation 4 on Oct. 30 for $39.99 USD.
Kingdom Hearts – The Story So Far is available for preorder on Amazon right now and features HD graphics, other updates, and changes from the original releases of a number of its included games.
Gameplay of Amazon’s New MMO Leaked on PornHub
Gameplay footage reportedly from Amazon's new MMO, New World, has leaked from an unlikely place, PornHub.
GamesRadar reports the 9-minute gameplay clip represents footage from the closed alpha. This isn't the first time PornHub has been responsible for leaks.
New World is under a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA), the norm for games in this stage of development, and the footage may have been leaked on the adult film site to circumvent YouTube's more rigorous algorithms and policies.
The footage reveals New World features crafting, gathering, and survival mechanics in its sandbox-type world, and characters can choose how to invest individual stat points when leveling up.
Grant Morrison Wants to Make Hal Jordan Cool in The Green Lantern
The Green Lantern Corps has the reputation of being one of the most daunting branches of the DC Universe continuity-wise, a status that certainly isn't helped by the neigh-impenetrable web spun around one of the GLC's most prominent members: Hal Jordan. Worse yet, on top of being pretty dense, Hal is also understood as being pretty… well, boring. However, writer Grant Morrison hopes to help Hal shed some of his stigma with his upcoming ongoing series, The Green Lantern, alongside artist Liam Sharp. But Morrison doesn't want to win Hal new fans by scraping his intimidating history -- he wants to prove that Hal has been worth your time all along.
Hal Jordan's slip in overall GLC popularity is considerably less difficult to understand than his actual in-fiction history. He was the first "modern" Green Lantern, an invention of a time in comics known as the Silver Age where the names and loose concepts of original ‘40s-era heroes were repurposed and reapplied to fresh faces. Hal's adventures epitomized the pulp sci-fi ethos of ‘50s and ‘60s comics by weaving a splashy, ray-gun slinging, alien punching fantasy mythos. However, after 30-some years of space adventures, DC attempted to execute the same move again and replaced whole swaths of its Silver Age heroes with fresher faces. Batman's back was broken, Superman was killed by a monster named Doomsday, Barry Allen sacrificed himself during a cosmic crisis -- you get the idea. Hal was not spared from the cull. This made room for new Green Lanterns like Kyle Rayner, John Stewart and Guy Gardner to step into the spotlight. Hal was eventually resurrected in true comic book fashion in the mid-2000s, but he never managed to root himself a prominent place in the younger generation of Green Lantern fans.
