James Gunn in Talks to Direct New Suicide Squad
Update: New reports have once again confirmed Gunn's involvement in the next Suicide Squad movie, with THR reporting he will direct the next film featuring the DC team following confirmation he would write it late last year.
However, THR reports Gunn's new Suicide Squad movie will not be a direct sequel but in fact a relaunch of the property, with new characters and a mostly new cast.

Despite many Steam users claiming that the battle royale game Ring of Elysium steals user data and even installs malware on computers, its developer Tencent Games says otherwise.
As posted on the official Ring of Elysium Facebook page, an announcement was made regarding user data and privacy security for the game. The post states "For the data and privacy issues that players have been concerned about recently, we solemnly promise to all users of Ring of Elysium that your privacy is respected and protected at all times, Ring of Elysium would never illegally spy on user privacy."

Microsoft Reportedly Planning to Acquire Pillars of Eternity Dev Obsidian Entertainment
Microsoft is reportedly making moves to acquire independent developer, Obsidian Entertainment.
According to sources close to Kotaku, Microsoft's acquisition of Obsidian is "90%" complete, with one source saying, "It's a matter of when, not if."
Some of Obsidian's most notable games include the Pillars of Eternity series, South Park: The Stick of Truth, KOTOR 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.
IGN has reached out to both Obsidian Entertainment and Microsoft for comment. A Microsoft spokesperson told IGN, "We do not comment on rumors or speculation."
Microsoft has recently acquired several studios such as Playground Games, Undead Labs, Ninja Theory. Microsoft is also opening a new Santa Monica studio called The Initiative, and is interested in acquiring even more new studios.
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 Now Backward Compatible on Xbox One
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 HD are both officially backward compatible on the Xbox One starting today.
Announced by Major Nelson on Twitter, these classics join the ever-growing library of backward compatible games on the system. They both come from the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2011. The HD Collection also contained Peace Walker, which was made available via backward compatibility on Xbox One earlier this year.

Google's Pixel 3 phone was officially unveiled today. The phone comes in two variations: the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel 3 costs $799, while the Pixel 3 XL is priced at $899. This makes it cheaper than recently revealed phones from its competitors, the iPhone Xs and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch display, while the Pixel 3 XL has a 6.3-inch screen. Both phones feature USB-C ports and "all-day" batteries.
Overwatch Halloween Terror 2018 Now Live
Junkenstein's Revenge returns to Overwatch today.
Blizzard has announced the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2018 event is now live for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The event has returned with two modes for players to enjoy; classic Junkenstein's Revenge, and Junkenstein's Revenge: Endless Night.
Players will be able to choose from 10 playable characters, including Tracer and Brigitte, who will be playable for the first time this year.
Overwatch isn't the only game getting a Halloween event. Festival of the Lost is returning soon to Destiny 2: Forsaken, Dragon Ball FighterZ players can now obtain Halloween-themed costume colors and lobby avatars, and some new spooky skins may be coming to Fortnite according to data miners.

The Walking Dead’s Season 9 Premiere Is One of Its Lowest Ever
The Walking Dead Season 9 premiered on Sunday, but it drew in a relatively small viewership.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the episode pulled in 6.08 million viewers, which marks the smallest audience the show has had since partway through Season 2. In comparison, the Season 8 premiere brought in 11.44 million viewers. The lowest season premiere ratings still belong to Season 1, which garnered 5.35 million viewers.
Specifically, its key 18-49 demographic had a historically low turnout, reportedly rating lower than any other season premiere in the series and tying with the lowest scoring rating of any episode of The Walking Dead in this demographic.
