Ubisoft Cancels Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s First In-Game Live Event

The inaugural live event for Assassin's Creed Odyssey has been canceled due to technical issues.

Live events in Assassin's Creed Odyssey were set to begin October 16, giving players level 30 and above the opportunity to take part in limited time contracts to earn Epic and Legendary rewards.

However, Damais the Indifferent, the Epic Mercenary who was to kick off Odyssey's first live event, was nowhere to be found in the game.

Orange Is the New Black Will End With Season 7

The upcoming seventh season of Orange Is the New Black will be its last.

Revealed on Orange Is the New Black’s official Twitter account (via Variety) various cast members made the emotional announcement in a brief video. Uzo Aduba, the actress who portrays Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren said “You will not be disappointed. It is a season you will not forget, and we are going to give you everything and more that you could have ever wanted."

For the second half of the show, Barrett Courtney comes in to discuss the conversation that arose about Red Dead Redemption 2 and crunch in the gaming industry at large following quotes about 100-hour work weeks at Rockstar, which Rockstar's Dan Houser later clarified were referencing he and his writing team's hours for a few weeks earlier this year. The initial reception of those, though, brought back up the conversation about how crunch affects game developers.

Obama Says He Doesn’t Care About Pokemon

The former President of the United States of America says he doesn't care about Pokemon...but only to prove a point about voting.

ATTN has put together a video featuring Barack Obama shutting down seven excuses people regularly use not to vote.

In his first point, he likens people not caring about politics to his own feelings towards the popular Pokemon franchise, saying "Look, I don't care about Pokemon, but that doesn't mean that it won't keep on coming back."

Sesame Street’s Original Big Bird Actor Retiring After 50 Years

Caroll Spinney, the puppeteer who has brought Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch to life since Sesame Street’s premiere in 1969, is stepping down from the roles after nearly 50 years.

Announced through a press release on Sesame Workshop, Spinney said that even though he is relinquishing these roles to other seasoned performers, he plans on remaining an ambassador for Sesame Workshop into the future. Sesame Street also put together a tribute reel for Spinney.

Tom Holland Announces Spider-Man: Far From Home Filming Wrap With Look at New Suit

Filming on Spider-Man: Far From Home has wrapped, and to celebrate this, Tom Holland has shared an image of Spidey’s new suit in the film.

Holland shared the photo of himself and Zendaya on Instagram, and it’s a far cry from the Iron Spider suit he wore in Infinity War, and is much closer to what he wore in Homecoming. He posted another shot of Spider-Man in an action-heavy scene a few hours prior, but this more recent photo gives us a clearer look at the suit.

The Stanley Parable's "Go Outside" achievement, which tasked players to not play the game for five years, can finally be earned through legitimate means today.

"I have the news you've all been waiting for," The Stanley Parable writer and designer Davey Wredent tweeted this morning. "Today is the first day that it is possible to legitimately get the Go Outside achievement in The Stanley Parable."

How The Conners’ Premiere Ratings Compare to the Roseanne Revival’s Ratings

The Conners — ABC's rework of the sitcom Roseanne, this time without Roseanne Barr — premiered last night to strong ratings that ultimately failed to match Roseanne's average ratings last season.

The sitcom pulled in a solid 10.46 million viewers last night and a 2.3 rating in adults 18-49, the demographic coveted by advertisers, according to THR. The premiere was in line with the finale of the Roseanne revival that aired last spring, which pulled in 10.58 million viewers and a 2.5 in the demo.

However, The Conners lagged considerably behind the massive ratings for the launch of the Roseanne revival last March. The two-part premiere episode for season 10 managed 18.16 million viewers and a 5.1 in the demo.
