Daredevil Season 3’s Ending Explained
The third season of Marvel's Daredevil is now streaming on Netflix. And while a fourth season hasn't been confirmed yet, the series certainly leaves plenty of room for a follow-up. That's especially true for the final scene, which introduces a new villain and hints at a big transformation for another.
From Matt Murdock's future to the fates of Bullseye and Kingpin, here are some major plot points that we expect to be explored in Season 4.
Lord Dark Wind
The clearest tease for a potential Season 4 comes at the very end of the Season 3 finale. Here, we see a paralyzed Benjamin Poindexter being operated on by two spinal surgeons, one of whom (played by Glenn Kubota) is referred to as Dr. Oyama. In the comics, Dr. Oyama is better known as the Japanese crime boss Lord Dark Wind. He was responsible for developing the process that bonds adamantium to bone. Wolverine is the most famous result of that experimental procedure, but Oyama also used his scientific knowledge to cure Bullseye after his spine was shattered fighting Daredevil.
WWE: Roman Reigns Diagnosed with Leukemia
After notably being absent from this past weekend's live events, and rumors of an injury floating, Roman Reigns just appeared in the opening segment of Monday Night RAW and announced that the leukemia he'd been living with for 11 years had returned.
Roman Reigns, real name Joe Anoa'i, was diagnosed with cancer when he was 22. After learning that it had returned, Reigns relinquished the WWE Universal Championship on live TV and announced "Right now the best thing for me to do is go home and focus on my family and my health."

Bethesda Knows Fallout 76 Beta Will Have Bugs and Wants Your Help
Fallout 76 developer Bethesda Game Studios knows its upcoming beta is bound to have some bugs, and wants players to help find and give advice on issues they encounter while playing.
In a note to its fans, Bethesda was candid about Fallout 76 being a new endeavor for the company, being a “Fallout-Online-Survival-Game” with functionality Bethesda wasn’t used to implementing into its previous open-world games. With the Fallout 76 beta starting tomorrow on the Xbox One, the game’s journey from concept to completion still has some hurdles to cross.
Friday the 13th: LeBron James Producing Horror Reboot
LeBron James' SpringHill Entertainment and Vertigo Entertainment are in talks to produce a reboot of the classic Friday the 13th, THR has confirmed.
Although the popularity and success of the Halloween sequel could be a factor for the interest in the Jason franchise, legal issues are partially at play. Last month, original screenwriter for Friday the 13th, Victor Miller, won a legal battle for the rights of the franchise.
Although Miller was awarded the copyright, director and producer, Sean Cunningham, could still appeal. Another layer is that it is unknown who holds the rights for the character of Jason Vorhees.
Mark Hamill on What Killed Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Mark Hamill has said that the Force killed Luke Skywalker at the end of The Last Jedi, likening Luke to a drug addict that overdoses after going clean for decades.
Hamill said this in a tweet that includes frames from Gary Whitta’s The Last Jedi comic book adaptation of the film, showing Luke’s final moments after using a force projection from Ahch-To.
Gotham Reveals First Look at Bane in Final Season
The first photo of Shane West as Bane in the fifth and final season of Gotham has been revealed.
The photo was posted on Twitter by Tze Chun, a writer and producer on Gotham. It shows West as Bane with a breathing apparatus that connects to his chest along with some bulky shoulder pads and bracers. He also appears to be fittingly angry with notably discolored rings beneath his eyes, suggesting this could be one of the many side effects of the infamous Venom drug that Bane is known for using.

Breaking Down Halloween’s Record-Breaking Box Office Debut
Universal’s highly-touted Halloween weekend, as expected, ran roughshod over its box office competition this weekend, earning an impressive $77.5 million in its debut. It had been projected to open in the $50 million to $60 million range ahead of its debut, but it ended up making history in more ways than one, while continuing to prove that audiences will in fact show up in droves to R-rated movies again. One of the most impressive stats, though, proves that it’s not just young men that can drive moviegoers to theaters to see a slasher flick like Halloween.
Halloween’s opening weekend was the biggest debut ever, for any movie in any genre, to feature a female lead character over 55 years of age. Jamie Lee Curtis, 59, returns as Laurie Strode in director David Gordon Green’s film, the first time she’s reprised her iconic role since the 2002 bomb Halloween: Resurrection, which was so unsuccessful it lead the franchise to go dormant for five years before director Rob Zombie was brought aboard to reboot it, with Scout Taylor-Compton starring as Laurie Strode in 2007’s Halloween ($58.3 million domestic total) and 2009’s Halloween II ($33.4 million domestic total).
