SIE Santa Monica Studio, the developer behind this year's critically acclaimed God of War, has shared some bizarre and entertaining bugs from the development of its most recent game.
Revealed through the PlayStation Blog, the post is an homage to the quality assurance team that worked on God of War, which consisted of "roughly 40 extraordinary people who embodied the fundamentals of what was important to us as a studio."
The bugs that were shared range from entertaining to creepy to downright hilarious, with many showing us that even the most polished games have had their fair share of game-breaking issues along the way. Some bugs, like Atreus’ face getting bizarrely distorted, were mostly visual, while some showed off audio issues the game once had, like Atreus repeating lines about draugr uncontrollably.
