Marvel Studios Boss Kevin Feige on When the Avengers 4 Trailer Will Debut and Guardians 3 Status

At a special screening of Black Panther on Thursday evening, Sirius XM journalist Erick Weber posted a tweet of responses from Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige on when the Avengers 4 trailer will debut, among other questions.

Feige said the trailer will be released "before the end of the year," which confirms the Avengers 4 trailer will debut within approximately 2 months – sometime in 2018.

Lucasfilm Boss Kathleen Kennedy Reportedly Confirms Boba Fett Movie Is Dead

According to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, the long rumored Boba Fett standalone film is "100% dead."

Via Dark Horizons, Sirius XM journalist Erick Weber tweeted the news by saying, "Kathleen Kennedy just confirmed to me Boba Fett movie is 100% dead, 100% focusing on THE MANDALORIAN. #StarWars"

The Mandalorian is Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars series that will debut exclusively on Disney's upcoming streaming service and will take place seven years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follow a new warrior inspired by Jango and Boba Fett.

Vampyr Coming to Nintendo Switch

Vampyr, the gothic action role-playing game released for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year, is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Revealed through a Focus Home Interactive earnings report, it looks like the success of Vampyr on its current platforms has given the publisher reason to bring Dontnod’s title to Nintendo’s handheld/console hybrid.

"In Q3, the Group will continue to maximize the potential of the Vampyr license,” the report notes. "After the game's impressive success on PC, Xbox One and PS4, it will be Nintendo Switch's turn to welcome the DontNod title to reach an even wider audience.” The report doesn’t clarify if Q3 is in regards to 2018 or 2019, though a fiscal third quarter typically ends in September, so 2019 is a likely bet.

Monster Hunter Movie Photo Shows Off Iconic In-Game Item in Response to Fan Backlash

After fans became worried that the upcoming Monster Hunter film wouldn’t feature weapons and items typically in the game franchise, a new photo shows off a decidedly iconic tool fans will undoubtedly recognize.

Milla Jovovich posted the picture in question on Instagram, showing off a slinger attached to her left arm and her body decked out in metal armor. The photo came with the following caption: "Captain Natalie Artemis. Ranger. Monster Hunter. Just a little peek for all the @monsterhunterworld fans out there who were worried the other day. Here is Captain Artemis wearing a ‘slinger' on her arm. I will also post a pic at some point of some of the incredible MH weapons we’ve recreated for the film."

IGN UK Podcast #458: The Halloween Special

We're big fans of Halloween at the IGN UK podcast so we thought we'd celebrate this week by bringing you a big ol' episode dedicated to it.

We've done a nice rundown of all the spookiest goings on in the cinema, on Netflix and on regular people telly. There's also a full-on spoiler discussion about the new Halloween film and as if that wasn't enough we're joined by THREE special guests.

You'll find lovely chats with Julius Avery and J.J. Abrams, the men responsible for bringing Overlord to our cinemas and we're also only bloody joined by the one and only Jamie Lee Curtis!

We don't know how we've done it...I mean, we do - months of careful planning and loads of emails - but still, what a fantastic time YOU'RE about to have.

FilmStruck to be Shut Down

FilmStruck, the indie, arthouse and classic film streaming service, will be shutting down late next month.

As reported by Variety, this is part of AT&T’s streamlining of WarnerMedia, Turner and Warner Bros. Digital Networks. FilmStruck will officially cease operations on November 29, 2018, and new signups are no longer allowed. FilmStruck debuted two years prior, in November 2016.

On the official FilmStruck website, the following message has been posted: “We regret to inform you that FilmStruck will be shutting down. Our last day of service will be November 29, 2018, and we are currently no longer enrolling new subscribers. All current FilmStruck subscribers will receive an email with details about your account and the refund process as applicable."

Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 0 Announced for Nintendo Switch

Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will all be headed to the Nintendo Switch in 2019.

Announced on Twitter, Capcom revealed that they are "bringing multiple fan favorites to Nintendo Switch," and that more info will be revealed for these versions "soon."

These Resident Evil titles will join the Switch versions of Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 that were released last year and the cloud version of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard in Japan.

Game of Thrones’ Stark Siblings Reunited for Maisie Williams and It Was Adorable

Maisie Williams, best known for her role as Arya Stark, was treated to a mini Stark family reunion after a showing of her play I and You at London’s Hampstead Theater.

As reported by TV Guide, Williams was reunited with Richard Madden (who played her older brother Robb Stark in the early seasons of Game of Thrones), and both Madden and Williams posted a picture on Instagram of the two very happy to see each other.
