A Visual History of Thor
Lately, it seems like it's Thor's World Tree, and we're all just living in it. The god of Thunder is about to return to the big screen in Thor: Ragnarok, and Marvel Comics is currently publishing one of their most epic sagas ever in the pages of The Mighty Thor. In short, it's a great time to be a fan of the Odinson.
In honor of these major Thor-related projects, we figures now would be a great time to look back at the character's visual history. From the original Jack Kirby design to Chris Hemsworth's thunder god, these are the looks that have defined Thor over the decades.
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Watiti and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Rufalo as Hulk/Bruce Banner, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Cate Blanchett as Hela.

Did You Catch This Sweet Stranger Things Easter Egg?
Season 2 of Stranger Things is loaded with fun easter eggs, and there's an adorable one in particular that, unless you were playing extremely close attention, likely missed.
Warning: Stranger Things: Season 2 spoilers ahead.
Netflix shared the easter egg in a post on Twitter, which ties to the number of days Mike called Eleven. For those who don't remember, Mike called Eleven every night for a total of 353 days, and adding up those three digits (3 + 5 + 3) gives you the number 11.
This is just one of many, many easter eggs hidden within Season 2 of the hit Netflix series. Don't miss our video breakdown of the easter eggs in Chapter 1 above, as well as our overview of hidden references in Chapter 2, Chapter 3, and Chapter 4, the last of which you can watch below:
AC Origins Microtransactions: What You Need To Know
With more and more big games adding microtransactions in unexpected places, we thought it was important to break down exactly what’s available for purchase with real money in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
In the grand scheme of things, Origins’ microtransactions are pretty harmless, with no randomization or loot boxes. Instead, you can buy Helix Credits to spend on specific cosmetics for you or your mount, legendary weapons, and "Time Saver" items and map markers.
Those Time Savers include in-game money, as well as crafting materials for upgrading and skill points for unlocking new abilities. You can also pay $2 each to automatically reveal the locations of the certain secrets, including Ancient Tombs, Hermit Locations, and Stone Circles, however there's no map for the trickier Papyrus Puzzles.
10 Iconic Movie Moments You Didn’t Know Were Improvised
If there’s ever been a movie you’ve loved, chances are there’s a line that stood out to you above all others. While many of these were in the original script, oftentimes actors will take it upon themselves to add a line line or two. With that in mind here are 10 of our favorite moments of on-the-spot improvisation
The Tears in the Rain speech may seem perfectly planned in Blade Runner, but actor Rutger Hauer actually made it up on the fly. He claims that out of all the dialogue on the page during this scene, he only kept the two lines that made the most sense. As he hoped it would be a great way to sum up Roy Batty’s quest, the actor’s very happy to see that years later, it’s still adored.
China Can’t Save Blade Runner 2049 From Being a Flop
The debut of Blade Runner 2049 in China this week won't be enough to save Director Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi sequel from being a flop.
As reported by Forbes, the film opened to a mere $2.4 million on Friday at the box office in China, and is expected to make roughly $7-$8 million over the weekend and $15-$20 million total in the country.
Blade Runner 2049 was not a cheap film to make, boasting a reported production budget of $150 million before marketing costs.
A Visual History of Hulk
For a guy who's whole look basically boils down to "angry, muscular green guy in torn pants," Hulk's appearance sure has changed a lot over the years. Sometimes he's green. Sometimes he's gray. Sometimes he hangs out on alien planets and gets his Gladiator on. The only thing that never changes is that Hulk is the strongest ones there is.
To celebrate the character's return to the big screen in Thor: Ragnarok, here are Hulk's most memorable looks in the comics, films, TV series and video games.
Don't expect Thor: Ragnarok to be Hulk's only MCU appearance in the next few years. Actor Mark Ruffalo recently revealed that Ragnarok is the start of a three-movie arc for Hulk.
