Disney Developing Movie About Snow White’s Sister

A live-action film based on Snow White's sister Rose Red is currently in the works at Disney.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has a script written by Justin Merz, which is being reworked by Evan Daugherty (Snow White and the Huntsman), whose new take brings the story more in line with the original animated feature. In this way, Rose will serve as a "companion piece" within the Disney film universe.

Rose Red offers a revised take on the classic Snow White story, in which Rose Red journeys with the seven dwarfs in search of a way to break the "Sleeping Death" curse put on her estranged sister, after Snow White eats the infamous poison apple.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Second DLC Pack, Eclipse, Announced

The second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is called Eclipse, and will include four new multiplayer maps, and introduces a new entry in the game's ongoing Zombies storyline that takes the characters to a Pacific island during World War II.

Eclipse will hit PS4 on April 19, with Xbox One and PC versions to follow on an unspecified date. As with previous BO3 DLC, no last-gen console versions will be released.

Eclipse's four multiplayer maps are Spire, Rift, Knockout and Verge (the latter a remake of Call of Duty: World at War's Banzai map). Here are Treyarch's descriptions of each one:

  • Spire: Spire takes Multiplayer combat to a futuristic sub-orbital airport terminal set high in the clouds. Multiple levels and open areas promote intense, mid-range combat around a clean, high-tech civilian environment. Watch your step, because one wrong move could send you plummeting back through the stratosphere.
