Sesame Street Movie in the Works at Warner Bros.

A new Sesame Street movie is being developed by writers David Guion and Michael Handelman for Warner Bros.

According to Deadline, the writers are working on a script treatment for the movie based on everyone's favorite fictional New York City street.

Sesame Street was a mainstay of children's programming on PBS for over 40 years, and last year the series moved to its new home on HBO.

Since the movie's script treatment hasn't been handed in, it's safe to say the movie is very early in development. It also wouldn't be the first movie based on the characters and lessons of the Sesame Street cinematic universe.

Minecraft Movie Casts Steve Carell

Steve Carell is in talks to star in the upcoming Warner Bros. Minecraft movie.

It's unknown what role the actor will play, and according to Variety, Warner Bros. has no comment on the casting at this time.

The movie is still a long ways off. In June, Mojang announced the Minecraft movie release date isn't until May 24, 2019.

Of course, Minecraft is a familiar property to just about everyone, and Mojang is involved with the movie's development. The Minecraft movie aims to the capture the same audience as Jurassic World.

Sam Raimi: Last of Us Movie Stuck at a ‘Standstill’

I attended a press lunch today for the upcoming home video release of Don't Breathe, during which time I was able to ask producer Sam Raimi about the status of the big screen version of the hit video game The Last of Us. And what he had to tell us wasn't very hopeful.

The movie was formally announced in March 2014 as being a Screen Gems release. The screenplay was penned by Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director for the game, who is also a producer on the film along with Raimi and his Ghost House Pictures company, Naughty Dog Co-Presidents' Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, and Game Director Bruce Straley. In the ensuing years since that announcement, there were rumblings of Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams being courted to star and subsequent comments from Druckmann that the movie would boast "big changes" from the game's story.

How Dolph Lundgren’s Arrow Villain Compares to Rocky’s Drago

Last week's installment of Arrow introduced viewers to Konstantin Kovar, the imposing Russian government agent Oliver Queen is determined to kill in this season's flashbacks. Kovar left a pretty strong impression despite his limited screen time, due in no small part to the fact that he's played by Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV, Universal Soldier, The Expendables), a man who knows a thing or two about playing strong, intimidating villains.

We had a chance to chat with Lundgren to learn more about how Kovar will factor into the current season and how this villain compares to the iconic Rocky foe, Ivan Drago. Scroll down to find out what he had to say.

New Apple Book Is 450 Photos of Apple Products for $300

Apple has revealed a $300 USD hardcover book that chronicles the design of Apple products through 450 photographs.

Titled Designed By Apple in California, the book contains images of Apple products from the last two decades, including photographs of the design process and finished products. The images were captured by photographer Andrew Zuckerman, according to Apple, and the book is dedicated to late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

In an excerpt from the book's foreword, Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive wrote: "While this is a design book, it is not about the design team, the creative process or product development. It is an objective representation of our work that, ironically, describes who we are. It describes how we work, our values, our preoccupations and our goals. We have always hoped to be defined by what we do rather than by what we say."
