Fantastic Beasts Sequels Won’t All Center Around Newt

While Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander was the central figure in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, producer David Heyman says that won't be the case in the forthcoming sequels.

Warning: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them spoilers follow.

When asked about Scamander's role in future installments by Cinema Blend, Heyman said, "I don't think

the heart of all of them. I think he'll be part—so will Tina, Queenie and Jacob—will be part of the next one."

The producer also discussed a key scene that was cut from the film, which showed Credence (Erza Miller) alive after seemingly dying in the climatic sequence that preceded it. "We actually had a scene, which we cut, which was Credence going to a boat, to get on a boat somewhere else. But we cut that, because we didn't want to have it be such an, 'Ahhh, here we go,'" he said.

Capcom Bans Street Fighter 5 Stage From Its Own Tournament

Capcom has banned the Street Fighter V stage Skies of Honor from both the Capcom Cup 2016 and the entire Capcom Pro Tour 2017 season.

"Due to being too distracting for tournament play, the #SFV Skies of Honor stage will not be used for Capcom Cup 2016 and the CPT2017 Season," says a Tweet from the Capcom Fighters official account.

The stage features an ever-changing background as it takes place on top of an airplane flying above a representation of Dubai. Pro player Keoma M. Pacheco recently voiced his concerns over the stage in a blog post.

Xbox One Game Streaming Coming Oculus Rift Next Month

Xbox has today confirmed a new app that will allow gamers to stream Xbox One games to an Oculus Rift via their home network and Windows 10 PC will be available for free on the Oculus Store from December 12.

Note that the new software won’t suddenly and magically turn your Xbox One games (and backward compatible Xbox 360 games) into virtual reality experiences; the app will simply stream your Xbox games onto a large, virtual screen within a small selection of VR environments. It may suit those seeking a little more privacy while playing, or those keen to trick your eyes into thinking you own a far, far larger television than your brain knows you can afford.

Feige Says a Fox/MCU Rights Sharing Deal Is Impossible

Don't hold your breath for an appearance of the X-Men inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In an interview with Variety, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that although Marvel and Sony had struck a deal to introduce Spider-Man into the MCU, similar deals with Fox are an 'impossibility' at this point in time.

"It’s an impossibility at this juncture", said Feige. "We certainly have enough films to keep us busy for a number of lifetimes."

Though it remains a crying shame we won't see the X-Men and The Fantastic Four interact with The Avengers onscreen in the foreseeable future, at least we have the previously 'impossible' Spider-Man: Homecoming to look forward to, which stars Tom Holland as the web-slinger and Michael Keaton as Vulture. Holland recently revealed he was contracted for three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies beyond the film, while Zendaya opened up about her "not romantic" but "very cool" character.
