The Killer: Lupita Nyong’o to Star in Gender-Swapped Remake

Black Panther's Lupita Nyong'o is reportedly set to star in the remake to John Woo's The Killer.

Per THR, Nyong'o is in talks with Universal for the lead role in what would be a gender-swapped remake. Woo will helm the project and produce alongside Mark Gordon (Source Code) and Matt Jackson. Luc Etienne is executive producing. A release date has not been set yet.

The remake follows an assassin (Nyong'o's potential role) who is sworn to protect a young woman she accidentally blinded years prior during a mob hit. The original film came out in 1989 and stars Chow Yun-Fat as the assassin Ah Jong. The landmark action thriller helped introduce Woo to Western audiences.

God of War Includes Infinity Gauntlet Easter Egg

God of War hides an incredible Avengers: Infinity War-themed Easter Egg, letting Kratos use his own Norse Infinity Gauntlet similarly to Thanos.

The secret was published on the God of War Reddit by user Moxxxxxi who put the pieces together. Players can find a talisman called the "Shattered Gauntlet of Ages" during the "Family Business" quest given by Sindri. The description heralds an untapped power hidden within the gauntlet.

"An ancient relic of Hel deemed too powerful to remain whole, fragments of its former strength lie scattered throughout the realms," reads the description for the talisman.

Ryan Reynolds Has the Best Deadpool Congratulations for Avengers: Infinity War

Deadpool is happy for the Avengers' incredible box office success.

Ryan Reynolds congratulated the MCU superheroes on Twitter for Infinity War's record-breaking opening weekend. The film had the biggest domestic opening of all time, making an estimated $250 million.

"From a guy who never knows when to quit, I’m glad you guys never did," Reynolds tweeted. "Congrats #Avengers." The actor also shared a hilarious rejection letter from Tony Stark about Deadpool potentially joining the Avengers.

God of War Director Has Plans for Five More Games

Update: Cory Barlog has clarified his statements from Kotaku's Splitscreen podcast to clarify he didn't mean five more God of War games are definitely in the works.

Barlog tweeted that the discussion on the podcast was much more "speculation" and not necessarily a declaration of exact plans for the God of War franchise. The future of the franchise "is going to be more measured" than what he discussed on the show.

"ok. to be honest, 5 games would literally kill me. you can rest assured the reality is going to be more measured than the speculation in the @kotaku discussion," he wrote.

American Gods Season 2 Gives First Look at House on the Rock

American Gods Season 2 is coming in 2019 and a new video gives fans a first look at the House on the Rock.

Production on the eight-episode second season has started and the new season will finally feature the aforementioned quintessential location in Neil Gaiman’s novel. The House on the Rock serves as a meeting place for a conference between the gods.

In Season 1, Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) and Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) were searching for the remaining Old Gods across America. It seems Season 2 will see Wednesday gather the Old Gods to discuss their plan to stop the New Gods. The meeting at the Carousel Room (pictured below) is regarded as one of the more standout moments from the book.

This Is How Much Avengers: Infinity War Cost to Make

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War may be the biggest visual spectacle of the year, so it's no surprise that it cost Disney quite a few pennies to bring this epic vision to life.

According to Forbes, Infinity War cost $321.2 million to make, which does not include all of the marketing and other promotional costs that can easily add millions more to the overall budget. Surprisingly, Infinity War is not the most expensive Marvel film, as you can see from the list below of Marvel movies made in the UK and revealed in publicly available financial statements:
