Justice League Dark: Trailer Debut for R-Rated Film
We're excited to debut the exclusive new trailer for Justice League Dark, the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie. It will hit Blu-ray, DVD and Digital in early 2017.
As depicted in the trailer (seen in the player above), Justice League Dark finds the world under attack from supernatural forces that prompts the Justice League's Batman to seek aid from occult investigator John Constantine. Constantine forms a team of other supernatural superheroes -- Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan the Demon -- to help save the world.
Not only do we have the new trailer for you today, we can also report that the movie, like its predecessor Batman: The Killing Joke, will be rated R! We hear that's for "some disturbing violence."
Ghost in the Shell Anime vs. Movie Side-By-Side Comparison
The first full trailer for the new live-action Ghost in the Shell movie is here. The film is definitely willing to forge its own path, but there are still a lot of scenes which pull from the original source material. We've laid out a few shots from the anime that we were able to match up quite well with the movie footage. Move the slider back and forth to see how close the shots are for yourself.
As you can see, it looks like they managed to get a lot about Major Kusanagi right while maintaining the unique futuristic look of the film. In our next gallery we take a look at Batsuo, the Geisha enemies, and a few more comparisons of Major.
Mass Effect Andromeda Dev on Making New Aliens ‘Empathetic’
Art director Joel MacMillan has opened up about BioWare's approach to designing a new alien race for Mass Effect Andromeda. And while the studio is remaining tight-lipped about the Kett's history, MacMillan did detail the importance in designing an empathetic alien race.
In an interview with Game Informer, MacMillan noted that even though the player may come into conflict with some Kett, the developer wanted to make sure players could still associate with these new aliens.
"As much as we wanted to make them look new or different or alien, you're always going to want to associate to them in some way. There's a really odd disconnect with trying to associate with an alien that is completely naked in front of you," MacMillan said.
Huge Battlefield 1 Patch Changes Modes, Maps, Balance and More
EA has detailed the extent of the upcoming Fall Update for Battlefield 1.
In the novella-length Battlefield Fall Update 2016 patch notes, you'll find all sorts of gameplay balances and bug fixes, as well as some of the more major changes coming soon.
"It's clear attackers need a boost" in the Operations game mode, says EA. Overall tickets for both Operations and Grand Operations are being increased, and it'll be easier to capture sectors as an attacker. Plus, the minimum tickets regained in Grand Operations is up to 50 from 30, and the amount of tickets gained for killing retreating defenders is higher.

The Original Xbox’s 15 Best Exclusive Games
Fifteen years ago today, Microsoft released the original Xbox, a console whose legacy lives on today in the form of the Xbox One and Xbox Live. Microsoft’s first games machine – originally codenamed the DirectXbox – was practically a PC. But by virtue of its PC-like built-in 8GB hard drive and Ethernet adapter, along with its infamous not-so-PC-like first controller (the Duke!), it left its mark with a memorable game library during its all-too-brief four-year run. And while it saw many great games grace its DVD tray, these are our favorite 15 exclusives* to have ever hit the original Xbox.
(*Some of these games came to other platforms much later, but were for all intents and purposes Xbox-exclusive at the time. Or their PS2/GameCube versions were just so inferior that you wouldn't want to play them on those platforms, like Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Feel free to argue about it in the comments below.)

Super Mario Run Release Date, Price Revealed
Super Mario Run will be released on December 15 for iOS devices, Nintendo announced today.
Players will be able to download the platform auto-runner from the App Store for free to try out the game's three modes. After that, the full game can be unlocked for $9.99.
Super Mario Run will work on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.0 or later and will launch in 151 countries and regions starting on December 15.
No word was given on an Android release date, but Nintendo has said that it plans on bringing the game to Android devices "at some point in the future."
Mark Hamill’s New Job: Professional Toy Explorer
The legendary Mark Hamill may be reprising his role as Luke Skywallker in huge new Star Wars movies these days, but he’s still keeping busy in plenty of other ways. Besides his acclaimed voice acting work -- he’ll once more be playing the Joker in the upcoming Justice League Action animated series, among several other current roles –- and his occasional appearances on The Flash as the Trickster, Hamill has launched a new series, Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest, on the recently-launched Comic-Con HQ subscription service.
On the series, Hamill -- an avid toy and memorabilia collector himself -- travels to see different notable collections, from classic Godzilla and other Japanese-created toys kept in a fan’s home to the iconic Batman comics and items on display at DC Comics’ headquarters. I spoke to Hamill about how the series came to be, what it’s like for him to interview the subjects, and more, including his own personal history as a collector.
Rumor: Apple May Make Augmented Reality Glasses
Apple is reportedly exploring the possibility of creating augmented reality glasses.
According to Bloomberg, sources say the glasses would connect to iPhones wirelessly, and be able to show images and information in the wearer's field of vision. Apple has not yet confirmed these rumors, and the sources asked not to be identified.
Back in January there were rumors Apple was working on a virtual reality headset. We will have to wait and see whether these latest reports are part of this project or something different.
