Titanfall 2 Excluded From EA Access and Origin Access

If you were hoping to try out Titanfall 2 before the game comes out, you're going to be disappointed.

According to GameReactor, Titanfall 2 will not be part of EA Access or Origin Access, meaning there won't be any free trials or early access to the game, nor will there be any discounts when it launches.

This report is backed up by the fact it says Titanfall 2 is excluded from EA Access in the fine print of the FAQ section of the official website. Respawn told GameReactor it might get included in the future, but not this year.

This content will be added for no additional charge for “everyone that buys Mafia III – whether it’s through pre-orders, day one purchase or those who wait.”

2K also revealed the first details of three “major paid expansions” that are now in production. “Faster, Baby!” will emphasise stunt driving and car chases as Lincoln partners with a former lover to battle a corrupt Sheriff on the fringes of New Bordeaux, “Sign of the Times” will see Lincoln on the trail of a deadly cult responsible for a series of ritual slayings, and “Stones Unturned” will pair Lincoln with a CIA agent to “settle a blood feud that began in the war-torn jungles of Vietnam.”

Saints Row Movie: What It Would’ve Been Like

Nick Nunziata, a producer on the canned Saints Row movie, and writer Peter Aperlo recently shared some insights on the development of the film, as well as why it never made it to the big screen.

In a post on Fandom, Nunziata said the team, which included Watchmen producer Lloyd Levin, was working with a "strong script" from Aperlo, whose credits include a handful of video games and the upcoming thriller Devil's Gate. In Nunziata's words, the script "felt like a modern-day Escape from New York, only bigger and with that Saints Row attitude."

According to Aperlo, with Saints Row: The Third in development at the time, the movie was going to be set between the first and second Saints Row games, with a focus on translating the game's tone, rather than its mythology, to the big screen. He wanted it to be a "hard R," but was ultimately asked to prepare a PG-13 script in hopes of landing a big star — Aperlo said Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was "very interested at one point."

Sonic Mania Has Me Excited For Sonic Again

Ten seconds into playing Sonic Mania, I was immediately hit with a flood of memories. At a PAX demo station equipped with classic SEGA Genesis controllers, Sonic Mania’s demo began with the classic Green Hill Zone, in gorgeous HD and looking better than ever, but simultaneously just how I remembered it.

This time around, though, levels from the original Sonic, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD, and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles have been slightly remixed (you might find elements from Sonic 3 in the original Green Hill Zone, for example) but still retain their classic Sonic flavor.

But the real magic of Sonic Mania comes in the new levels done in the old school style. We played a new zone called Studiopolis set in a TV station. We jumped off of classic Sonic bumpers and springs, but also warped through TV satellite dishes, fought off enemies shooting film strips, and even crashed through gigantic popcorn machines, all at break-neck speed in classic Sonic fashion.
