Nintendo NX Rumored to Have Share Button, Split D-Pad

After rumors surfaced last week that Nintendo's next console, codenamed NX, will have motion-sensing detachable controllers with advanced vibration, a new report has surfaced, claiming the NX controller will also have a share button and split D-pad.

Anonymous sources have told Let's Play Video Games that NX's share button (bearing a small icon of a camera) will function similarly to the one found on PlayStation 4's DualShock 4, and will "apparently allow the upload of still images and video directly to Miiverse, Twitter, Facebook or YouTube."

3DS-Themed Nintendo Direct Coming This Week

A 3DS-focused Nintendo Direct will be streamed this Thursday, September 1 at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm BST.

Nintendo has made clear that no mention of the upcoming NX console will be made during the broadcast.

Current upcoming 3DS games include Pokemon Sun and Moon, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice and Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits, which will likely be shown off. You can also expect to see more of the new Galaxy-style New 3DS, too.

Directs are also often used to debut new games - we may have a larger list of upcoming 3DS games by the time the show's through.

Halo’s Warthog Coming to Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 has gone gold, meaning the final version of the game has been sent for disc pressing, and the game is being setup for digital release.

In addition, Halo's Warthog has been announced as a playable vehicle in the game. This is just the latest in a list of over 350 vehicles, but it could prove to be one of the most popular among the community.

Sadly, you won't find the turret on this version, as it's just a civilian 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog CST. Don't expect to be blasting your opponents away.

It does have a 720 bhp twin turbo V8 though, so it's much faster than its military counterpart. It also apparently has the most advanced suspension in the entire game, plus advanced dampening for extra stability.

So, if you were hoping to be the first one to World of Warcraft's maximum level, it looks like you'll have to wait until the next expansion.

Fragnance leveled up in a group with another player named Gingi, and the pair have been preparing quest routes for weeks in the Legion beta.

No Mario’s Sky Is Exactly the Game You Think It Is

A team of four designed a mash-up of 2D Mario and No Man's Sky in 72 hours, and you can play it now (provided Nintendo hasn't pulled it down).

No Mario's Sky (flagged up by Wired) places players on a randomly-chosen World 1-1, then lets them blast off in an M-themed spacecraft to find far less conventionally-numbered, circular levels.

Every planet comes with different species of Goomba (personal favorites include the ones with no faces and the guys with Donald Trump hair), atmosphere, gravity effects, even remixed takes on the classic Super Mario Bros. theme. Here's one of mine:
