Is This the Year That Westworld Takes Place?
After last night's Westworld finale, HBO has dropped a huge - possibly unintentional, probably not - clue as to the show's time period.
Spoilers for Westworld Season 1 ahead.
The official Westworld website holds the clue. As outlined by Thisinsider.com, fans who signed up to the Westworld mailing list were sent an email about a security alert after last night's episode, prompting them to head to the Delos Security panel for an important message. Within the email, several letters were grayed out to spell "reverie," a nod to last night's episode.
How to Train Your Dragon 3 Release Date Moved
The release date for How to Train Your Dragon 3 has once again been moved. The film will now open in theaters on March 1, 2019.
Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation announced the new release date, shifting the film from its previously planned debut date of May 18, 2018 to March of the following year.
After directing the first two films, Dean DeBlois is returning to helm the series' third installment, which will continue the story of Hiccup and Toothless. Jay Baruchel will be back to voice Hiccup, with America Ferrera reprising her role as Astrid and Cate Blanchett returning as Valka.
Universal and DreamWorks' plot description for How to Train Your Dragon 3 follows:
Why the Jedi Are So Forgotten by the Time of Rogue One
I attended the press junket this past weekend for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, during which time I had the chance to chat one-on-one with director Gareth Edwards about the politics of the film, the legend of the Jedi by the time of Rogue One, and the timelessness of Star Wars stories.
Disney screened 28 minutes of footage from Rogue One before press interviews, but fear not: This is a spoiler-free conversation with the filmmaker about his movie, which follows a group of Rebel spies out to steal the plans for the Death Star in the time leading up to the events of the first Star Wars movie, A New Hope.
IGN: The fall of the Jedi in Revenge of the Sith only happened roughly twenty years before Rogue One begins and yet they're treated as almost a myth. How does your film address how it seems that so many people and recent events can be almost forgotten or treated as myth in just a few decades?
Altered Beast, Streets of Rage Coming to TV, Film
Altered Beast and Streets of Rage, two classic SEGA game franchises, are getting TV and film adaptations.
Variety reports that Stories International and Fear the Walking Dead production company Circle of Confusion are working together on the two SEGA properties.
“These are some of the most well-loved SEGA games, and we are thrilled to be working with Stories to adapt them into major film and television franchises,” said Circle of Confusion partner Lawrence Mattis.
Stories is also developing movies and TV shows based on Shinobi, Golden Axe and The House of the Dead. Back in 2014, SEGA unveiled plans to expand into filmmaking.

Westworld Creators Talk Season 2 and Ford’s Plan
Warning: Full spoilers for the Westworld: Season 1 finale follow.
Westworld’s first season has come to a close, and suffice to say, fans can’t wait to see what happens next – though they will indeed have to wait, unfortunately, as the show isn’t likely to rerurn until 2018 for Season 2. In the meantime though, I spoke to the show’s creators, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy – who co-wrote the season finale, with Nolan directing as well – to discuss the big reveals that occurred and what it means for the future.
Nolan and Joy weighed in on what we learned, what it could mean and more, including how they felt that some of their big reveals were being predicted online by a passionate group of Westworld fan theorists.
Game of Thrones Reportedly Eyeing UFC’s Conor McGregor
UFC star Conor McGregor will reportedly appear in one of the two remaining seasons of Game of Thrones.
Although no information about the extent of McGregor's role is known, a source told Belfast-based outlet the Sunday Life, via Metro, the current UFC lightweight champion has agreed to appear at some point in the show before it ends.
"He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan," a source told the paper. "They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show."
We reached out to HBO about the report and they declined to comment.

The Walking Dead fans have been concerned in recent weeks that Chandler Riggs, who stars as Carl, would potentially be exiting the series because he's been accepted into college. In a new interview, Riggs finally addressed the rumors on how it will affect his continued involvement on The Walking Dead.
Warning: Potential spoilers for The Walking Dead follow.
When asked how his acceptance to Auburn may impact his future with The Walking Dead, Riggs told The Hollywood Reporter he hopes he can continue to be involved with the show, while also experiencing normal life as a college student.
