The Flash: What’s Next for Jay Garrick

Actor John Wesley Shipp has worn many hats in the Flash franchise, beginning with his time as Barry Allen/The Flash on the original 1990 TV series. Since then, Shipp has voiced Reverse-Flash on the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold and played Barry's father, Henry, on the first two season of the current Flash series on the CW. And even though Henry was killed at the end of Season 2, Shipp remains an active player on the show, taking on the role of Jay Garrick (the real one, following last season's imposter), a speedster hero who defends the inhabitants of Earth-3.

Shipp's Jay Garrick will be returning in tonight's new episode, "The Present," which also serves as the midseason finale. We'll see Barry cross over to Earth-3 to seek advice on how to deal with Savitar, only to be drawn into Jay's ongoing feud with his world's version of the Trickster (Mark Hamill). Along the way, fans will learn a great deal more about what the second half of Season 3 holds in store for these speedster heroes.

The Canadian Prime Minister Made a Video Game and People Keep Sending Him Bug Reports

The 23rd Prime Minister of Canada today published his first video game (to our knowledge), but Twitter has been quick to report a game-breaking bug.

The unnamed indie project, which sees players attempting to place an endlessly bouncing puck into a goal, can be played on the Code Studio website (with whom Trudeau is working to aid the Hour of Code movement).

Unfortunately, Trudeau's game seems to have joined the litany of recent high-profile releases - including Watch Dogs 2 and No Man's Sky - to ship with game-breaking bugs or major issues, and Twitter has been quick to let the fledgling developer know.

The Future of the Transformers Movie Universe

I was among a group of journalists invited to watch a day of filming on the Transformers: The Last Knight set in August, where we learned a ton about the film's story and characters. But another topic that kept coming up was the long rumored Hasbro shared cinematic universe. While no one on set seemed interested in confirming any sort of crossover between Transformers and other properties, many were happy to share their candid thoughts about the future of the Transformers franchise, including the Bumblebee spinoff.

Beta Registration for Ghost Recon: Wildlands Open Now

Ubisoft has announced that fans can sign up from today at ghostrecon.com for a chance to join a beta test for its upcoming, open-world tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

It was confirmed last month that the game would have multiple betas prior to its release.

Set in a corrupted, cartel-controlled Bolivia “a few years from now”, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be the largest action game Ubisoft has ever made. It will be playable in single-player or up to four-player co-op and, from IGN’s hands-on at E3 2016, feels a lot like Tom Clancy meets GTA Online at this stage.

Pokemon Walking Animations Discovered in Sun and Moon

Ever since Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver featured sprites of the Pokemon that would follow their trainer around when traversing the world, fans have been requesting that the option return. According to files in Pokemon Sun and Moon, it appears this feature may have been cut from the game.

Hacker KazoWAR (via Kotaku) discovered there are "low polygon models and walking animations" within the files of Pokemon Sun and Moon, and has taken to Twitter to share his findings.
