Major Halo 5 Update Monitor’s Bounty Revealed

343 Industries has shed some light on Halo 5: Guardians' latest update, titled Monitor's Bounty, and players won't have to wait long to experience the new content in-game.

As part of a two-day reveal of what's to come in the update on Halo Waypoint, 343 announced the update will go live on Thursday, December 8. With it comes several new gameplay options, including the Custom Games Browser, Observer Mode, and REQ Gifting.

The Custom Games Browser allows players on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs to search for games in progress from the game's main menu, and the options will be based on privacy settings and when those games were created in the multiplayer lobby. With the browser comes full access to Forge and Arena multiplayer options, though without matchmaking, for Windows 10 players.

What’s It’s Really Like to Work with Michael Bay

This August I was among a handful of writers invited to watch a day of shooting with Michael Bay and the cast and crew of Transformers: The Last Knight. You can read all the new details we learned about the upcoming blockbuster here as well as what the future of the Transformers cinematic universe is here.

The explosions and action sequences we saw were of course amazing and it’s always fun to talk to movie stars. But none of that was surprising. What surprised me and I daresay many of my colleagues was how open and available Bay was, spending at least an hour talking with us throughout the course of the day. To give you an idea of how unusual that is, most other interviews lasted about five to fifteen minutes because everyone was busy keeping up with Bay’s notoriously fast pace. Yet somehow Bay kept finding his way back to our small group to chat about movies (he sees all of them without exception), filmmaking (he's REALLY into 3D and IMAX) and whatever else was on his mind (though he doesn't have any inside info, he personally thinks Bad Boys 3 will never happen).

Legends of Tomorrow: Is Barry Allen Warning About Reverse-Flash?

Legends of Tomorrow's second season has already dropped a number of big twists, but none bigger or more crucial than the discovery of a secret message left by the Barry Allen of the year 2056.

This older Barry warned Rip Hunter of a coming war, one that will divide the Legends and prove that even heroes can't be trusted. The message was seemingly resolved in the recent "Invasion!" crossover, where future Barry's message forced present day Barry to come clean about Flashpoint changes to the rest of the Arrowverse. But it seems like 2056 Barry Allen is warning of something bigger -- something that has everything to do with the full team of villains who will be revealed in Thursday's Legends of Tomorrow midseason finale, and one in particular who's been popping up throughout this entire season.

Konami Files New Trademark for Old-School Console

Konami filed a trademark for TurboGrafx with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The trademark covers a broad group of classifications pertaining to video games and video gaming consoles.

The filing, discovered by NeoGAF user Rösti, was filed December 1. The application has merely been filed at this point, however. The filing is currently "awaiting examination" by the USPTO.

For those unaware, TurboGrafx-16 was a console created by NEC and Hudson Soft in the late '80s, sold in Japan under the name PC Engine.

New Vikings Clip: Lagertha vs. Aslaug

It's been a while since Ragnar left Lagertha for Aslaug on History's Vikings, but Lagertha hasn't forgotten the life she feels was stolen from her.

In this exclusive clip from the next episode, "The Vision" -- airing Wednesday, December 7th -- Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) confronts Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland), who's in a bit of an "altered state," during a sacrifice ceremony meant to celebrate Bjorn's expedition to the Mediterranean. And, well, Lagertha's words are pretty harsh. Take a look!

The official synopsis for "The Vision" reads:

Ragnar's difficulties raising a crew for the voyage to Wessex leaves Kattegat locals admonishing him that the gods have deserted him. Meanwhile, Bjorn's dream to explore the Mediterranean is within reach.

Team Batgirl Introduces Neon-Pink Motor Crush

Tomorrow sees the release of Motor Crush #1 from Image Comics, dreamed up by the same creative team that rejuvenated Batgirl by giving her a stylish new look and relocating her from dreary Gotham to hipster-chic Burnside. Now, Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart and Babs Tarr are taking readers to a world where motorcycle racing is the world’s most popular sport and everything pulses with neon colors.

“We’re really proud of our Batgirl run. I think we’re carrying over a similar sense of style, not just in the art but in the storytelling,” Fletcher told us in an interview with the team. “Cameron’s action-packed layouts are back and more dynamic than ever and Babs’ art feels like it comes from the same place as her work on Batgirl but cranked up to 11 -- more imaginative, more colorful, bigger, bolder, better. It’s everything we were doing before but with fewer restrictions in place.”
