Little Kid is Rightwise Queen of England After Finding Sword

A little girl has pulled a 4 foot sword out of the lake where King Arthur was said to have thrown the legendary Excalibur.

Matilda Jones, age 7, was holidaying with her family in Cornwall where she pulled the blade out of Dozmary Pool. According to folklore, Dozmary Pool is where King Arthur threw the sword after the Battle of Camlann, where it was caught by the Lady of the Lake.

Matilda's father Paul told The Star that he had been telling Matilda and her sister the legend of King Arthur on the way to the lake, and initially didn't believe her when she said she'd found a sword while paddling.  "It was a blistering hot day and Matilda asked if we could go for a paddle," he told the publication. "She was only waist deep when she said she could see a sword. I told her not to be silly and it was probably a bit of fencing, but when I looked down I realised it was a sword. It was just there laying flat on the bottom of the lake."

Here’s an Early Look at the Next Overwatch Comic

The next Overwatch comic, Wasted Land, will focus on everyone's favourite rogues down under.

Scripted by Robert Brooks with art and colors by Miki Montlló, Wasted Land takes place in Australia's Junkertown after the Omnic Crisis and sees Roadhog doing what Roadhog does best. Here's the official synopsis:

The Omnic Crisis brought ruin to the Australian Outback. Roadhog knows this better than most. He’s seen it descend into an apocalyptic wasteland. Everything he once knew has been broken down, irradiated, or scrapped. Now all that’s left is Junkertown, the place that hermits, scavengers, brutes, and killers call home. Roadhog hasn’t put it out of its misery. Not yet. But he’s been tempted…

Why Twin Peaks Had the Perfect Ending

Twin Peaks: The Return has finally concluded, with what is shaping up to be one of the most controversial episodes in television history. While the first half of its two-hour finale, Part 17, saw some of the major plotlines tied up – some more comprehensively than others – the path Part 18 took viewers down was dark, obscure, and divisive. It opened up terrifying new doors to its world, shed an uncomfortable light on characters we love, and alienated us from everything we thought we had come to understand over the past several weeks – perhaps even the last several years.

Game of Thrones: An Incest Love Story Was Always the Plan

Full spoilers for Game of Thrones: Season 7 continue below. Make sure to read IGN's review of Season 7, and read on at your own risk.

Game of Thrones' seventh season culminated in two life-changing revelations for Jon Snow: first, he consummated his season-long romance with Daenerys Targaryen, and second, the audience learned he's actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, making him the Khaleesi's nephew.

While incest is nothing new to Game of Thrones, it's also not new for Jon Snow's end game. The Game of Thrones TV show has far outpaced George R.R. Martin's novels, so it's unclear (though assumed) whether Jon and Daenerys will pair up in the books.

Shia LaBeouf Not Back for Indiana Jones 5

It would seem that Shia LaBeouf's time in the Indiana Jones universe was short-lived, as David Koepp, the screenwriter of Indiana Jones 5, has confirmed LaBeouf's character Mutt Williams is not in the script.

Koepp put it succinctly to Entertainment Weekly, saying, "Harrison plays Indiana Jones, that I can certainly say. And the Shia LaBeouf character is not in the film."

Koepp said the movie could begin production soon, and that he hopes Steven Spielberg, who has directed every Indiana Jones film, will make it his next project. "In terms of when we would start, I think that’s up to Mr. Spielberg and Mr. Ford," he explained, adding, "if the stars align, hopefully it’ll be his next film."

Why Marvel’s Inhumans Changed Maximus’s Comic Book Origins

This article discusses a spoiler about the Marvel's Inhumans character Maximus as he is depicted in the IMAX and ABC presentation of the series. Read on at your own risk.

If Marvel's Inhumans is inspired by any one comic book line, it is very clearly Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee's 1998 limited series Inhumans. But the TV show makes one major change from that source material, which is making Royal Family villain Maximus human instead of Inhuman.

In the TV show, Maximus reveals that his Terrigenesis transformation rendered him human instead of granting him any special abilities. This is a major shift from the comics, which see him gifted special mental abilities and a superhuman intellect.

How Twisty the Clown Will Fit Into American Horror Story: Cult

A familiar face is coming to American Horror Story: Cult, and it’s one that’ll surely inspire nightmares. Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch) -- the prosthetic-wearing serial killer that brought the terror to AHS: Freak Show -- will be returning to the FX series for another murderous go-round.

Coulrophobia, the fear of clowns, is just one of many phobias being explored this season -- putting Sarah Paulson’s Ally Mayfair Richards on the receiving end of the psychological terror. “She has a fear of blood; she has a fear of coffins that we will explore; she has a fear of holes which people have,” Ryan Murphy explained during a Q&A session. “A lot of times, phobias can die down and then ignite when something else is happening in your life.”

Final Fantasy XV Engine Didn’t Run Well on Switch in Testing

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata has confirmed his team has attempted to run the game's underlying tech on Nintendo Switch, but didn't get the desired results.

Speaking to DualShockers, Tabata explained that his team had tested the game's Luminous Engine on the Switch but couldn't “bring out the most of the engine”.

That's not to say a port categorically can't happen - Tabata also made clear that no specific optimisations had been made to account for the Switch's power (which could allow for the full game to run) - but no further tests have been made as yet.
