Hades Has Been Rated For PS4 by Korean Rating Committee

Hades has been rated for PS4 by Korea's Game Rating and Administration Committee, hinting that Supergiant Games' rougue-like will soon be making its way to other platforms besides PC and Nintendo Switch. As spotted by modiz on ResetERA, Hades' rating also indicates that Take Two will be the publisher for the PS4 version. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/12/21/hades-igns-2020-game-of-the-year"] Hades was first released on PC via Early Access in 2018, and it was officially launched on PC and Switch in September 2020. Considering the numerous Game of the Year awards Hades received, including from IGN, it should come as no surprise that the game would eventually make its way to other consoles. In our review of Hades, we said that it "is a one-of-a-kind rogue-lite that does a brilliant job of marrying its fast-paced action with its persistent, progressing story through a vividly reimagined Greek mythological underworld." Hades supports cross-save between Switch and PC, so hopefully it will also feature that functionality when it finally arrives on PS4 and any other platform. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/17/hades-review"] For more on Hades, check out how to defeat every boss, how to get Legendary Boons, and how to get and use Nectar and Ambrosia. Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker Release Date Annouced

The next expansion for Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker will be released on November 23, 2021. Players who pre-order the expansion will be able to play four days earlier on November 19, 2021. The next major expansion for Square Enix's Final Fantasy 14 MMORP has officially been announced. Along with a new storyline, Endwalker will include two new classes, the healer Sage class and the DPS Reaper class. The latter was announced at the Digital Final Fantasy 14 Fan Fest. The release date for Endwalker is considerably later than past Final Fantasy 14 expansions, which have typically been released mid-to late-summer. However, the developers have cited an abundance of content, plus complications with the coronavirus as reasons for the late release schedule. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2021/05/15/final-fantasy-xiv-endwalker-official-full-cinematic-trailer"] However, Square Enix and Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki Yoshida have shown off quite a bit of content for the upcoming expansion. Yoshida premiered videos showcasing new areas and dungeons, plus the brand new class Reaper. This new class is a melee DPS that wields a scythe and can summon a spiritual avatar to aid them in combat. The Reaper joins the other new class Sage, a healer who can attack and heal using flying mechanical knives. As a final announcement, Yoshida also announced another playable character, the male Viera. The Viera is a bunny-eared race in the Final Fantasy world and female Vieras were introduced in the last Final Fantasy 14 expansion, Shadowbringers. Yoshida announced that the developers are planning to release a female Hrothgar playable class also, but the developers were unable to add this in time for the launch of Endwalker. Final Fantasy 14 was released to middling reviews, but starting with a near-total reboot called Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, Square Enix has completely turned around the MMORPG into one of the most popular and critically acclaimed MMOs currently going. NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition Review — Air Ball

Mobile versions of console or PC titles used to carry the stigma of being poor cousins, but as games like Fortnite and Genshin Impact have shown, it's possible for mobile games to be just as good as their console counterparts. At first glance, NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition seems like it will follow suit; the game looks very impressive, the action runs smoothly, and every NBA team (with full rosters) is available from the start. I thought I'd have all I need to enjoy some great NBA action wherever I went, but the more I played the more I realized what I thought would be a deep experience was instead very shallow.

NBA 2K21 Arcade is the annual basketball franchise's first appearance in Apple Arcade, and it features three main modes: Play Now, MyCareer, and Black Top. The game does a great job of bringing the impressive visuals of the NBA 2K games to iOS, with player models here looking pretty close to their real-life counterparts.

The Play Now feature is straightforward: pick two teams and play a game. The short amount of time it takes from booting the game up to playing a game is impressive, only lasting as long as it takes you to pick teams. But actually playing a game is where things get tricky, with the game's on-screen touch controls being too sensitive at best and non-functional at worst.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion Brings in Two Directors With a Dramatic Pedigree

Marvel has hired two directors to helm its upcoming Secret Invasion series, both of whom have roots in directing more dramatic fare. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thomas Bezucha, the director behind the 2020 Kevin Costner crime-thriller Let Him Go; and Ali Selim who worked on Hulu's 9-11 miniseries The Looming Tower, will help bring the Secret Invasion storyline to life on Disney Plus. The upcoming Disney Plus series will adapt the famous Marvel crossover event where a shape-shifting alien race known as the Skrulls has taken the identities of powerful figures in the Marvel universe, including members of the Avengers. Perhaps Marvel is looking to lean into the dramatic nature of the storyline by hiring Bezucha and Selim. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=marvel-cinematic-universe-every-upcoming-movie-and-tv-show&captions=true"] Samuel L. Jackson will star as Nick Fury and he'll be joined by Ben Mendelsohn's Talos, a Skrull introduced in Captain Marvel. The 2019 MCU film actually positioned the Skrulls, at least those we saw, as allies and Talos even appeared in Spider-Man: Far From Home to help out Peter Parker. So the MCU's version of Secret Invasion will already likely differ from the comic books in some ways. Other cast members announced for Secret Invasion include One Night in Miami's Kinglsey Ben-Adir, Game of Throne's Emilia Clarke, and The Crown's Olivia Colman. Mr. Robot writer Kyle Bradstreet will write and produce the series. Secret Invasion is just one of the many shows Marvel is working on for Disney Plus. The next series to premiere will be Loki, but Marvel has already started production on Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and more. Check out our feature on how the seeds of Secret Invasion could already be planted in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Matt T.M. Kim is IGN's News Editor.

Indiana Jones 5: Logan’s Boyd Holbrook Will Reunite with Director James Mangold

As Indiana Jones 5 gears up for production, Disney and Lucasfilm are continuing to fill out the upcoming sequel's cast. Deadline reports that Boyd Holbrook is set to star alongside Harrison Ford in the next installment of the series. Holbrook's casting reunites the actor with his Logan director James Mangold, who will helm the next Indiana Jones movie after series director Steven Spielberg left over disagreements about the script. In Logan, Holbrook played Donald Pierce, the primary antagonist of the film. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2021/05/11/indiana-jones-4-movie-collection-4k-ultra-hd-official-trailer"] The actor is also known for his lead performance in the 2018 reboot The Predator as well as his breakout role in the first two seasons of Narcos. Additionally, Holbrook recently wrapped filming on Netflix's upcoming television adaptation of the DC series Sandman. Holbrook's addition to the Indiana Jones 5 ensemble was also reported alongside the casting of Shaunette Renée Wilson. Wilson had a featured role in Black Panther and was part of the main cast on Fox's The Resident. Holbrook and Wilson join an already impressive cast of series newcomers, including Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Thomas Kretschmann. Mikkelsen recently discussed how he has been "invited to create a character" for the movie. Though plot details remain under wraps at the moment, the film is planning to start production this summer. Disney has set the as-yet-unnamed sequel for a July 29, 2022 release date. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2017/03/04/logan-easter-eggs-references-and-trivia"] In other Indiana Jones news, a new box set including all four current films in 4K Ultra HD is set to release in June to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
