WWE Comic Series Enters the Ring in January 2017
A new ongoing comic book series titled WWE will launch in January 2017 from publisher BOOM! Studios.
Written by Dennis Hopeless (Avengers Arena, Spider-Woman) and drawn by newcomer Eduard Petrovich, the story will follow wrestler Seth Rollins as he tries to win the WWE World Championship while dealing with his former team members from The Shield, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
Batman: Exec Teases Solo Movie Timing
While Warner Bros. has remained tight-lipped about the release date of its upcoming Batman solo film, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes has come forward to shed light on the general timing of the Ben Affleck-led DC movie.
As noted on the latest episode of The Suicide Squadcast (via /Film), Bewkes addressed the film's status during a Goldman Sachs investor meeting, saying, "Ben announced a Batman movie
MacGruber 2 Script Hath Begun
A sequel to the MacGyver film parody MacGruber is now moving forward, as work on the script for MacGruber 2 has begun.
Will Forte, who starred in the original 2010 movie, is re-teaming with director Jorma Taccone to pen the script. Taccone shared the news in a post on Twitter, saying, "The writing hath begun!!!"

GTA Online Bikers DLC Release Date Revealed
Grand Theft Auto Online's new Bikers expansion will be available for free download on October 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The motorcycle-themed update promises new features including on-bike melee combat, new weapons, modes, vehicles, a ranking system where Prospects gain organizational prestige in the new biker clubs, and more.

The History of Westworld
HBO’s new show Westworld is shaping up to be another in the cable net’s long line of great dramas, though interestingly the Jonathan Nolan/Lisa Joy-produced sci-fi series is not a new concept. In fact, the tale of a theme park populated by robots is just the latest incarnation of an idea that has already been made into two movies and a short-lived TV show over the years. It also bears mentioning that a different -- if hugely popular -- franchise was surely informed by Westworld on some level… Jurassic Park.
So with the new Westworld about to make its debut on HBO, let’s take a look back at the previous versions of this classic sci-fi story. Draw!

Can't wait until the season premieres on October 2nd to get a look at what havoc the evil dead are wreaking on the world? IGN will be live streaming a sneak peek airing of the Season 2 premiere, "Home," starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on IGN's Facebook page and IGN.com.
Immediately following the episode will be a live Q&A session with Bruce Campbell, who plays Ash Williams, and Lucy Lawless, who plays Ruby, where they'll be answering fans' questions posted to the Facebook live stream.
If you happen to miss the live stream, a replay of the episode and Q&A will be available on IGN's Facebook page until October 9th. The live stream and episode will only be available for viewing within the United States.
Yakuza 0 Special Edition Includes Custom Business Cards
Sega has just announced a limited-run special edition of the upcoming Yakuza 0, including some interesting collectibles to make you feel like you're part of the shadowy gangster organization.
The Business Edition features a stainless steel business card holder adorned with the tattoos of two of the game's main characters, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima. And yes, you'll also get their business cards tucked inside, in addition to a collectible card featuring a set of the series' ever-present Hostesses.
New Posters and Images for Marvel’s Doctor Strange
Disney has released three new posters for the upcoming Marvel movie Doctor Strange.
The three posters feature a similar design but revolve around three different characters: Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), his mentor and friend Wong (Benedict Wong), and Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams).

Amazon Orders The Tick, More to Series
The Tick, Jean-Claude Van Johnson and I Love Dick have received full series orders by Amazon, after the pilots for all three comedies performed well during their trial run for Prime subscribers last month.
Announced via a press release today, Amazon has revealed that the trio of upcoming shows will premiere exclusively through the company's Prime Video service sometime next year for those in the United States and the U.K., as well as in Germany, Austria, and Japan.
Amazon's aforementioned trial run in August proved to be incredibly successful, serving as the company's most-watched season for comedy pilots in the history of Prime Video.
"These pilots were vast in scope, disruptive in tone, challenging in story and sometimes even funny," Amazon Studios Half-Hour Series head Joe Lewis said in a statement accompanying the announcement. "It’s rewarding to see customers embrace them in such a huge way."
