The Flash Movie Will Feature an “Amateur-Hour” Hero

Despite making his movie bow in next year's Justice League, Barry Allen will still be getting to grips with his powers in 2018's The Flash, says star Ezra Miller.

Speaking to IGN, Miller explained that while Allen will have learned more about harnessing the Speed Force in his team-up with Batman, Superman and co., he will still be an in-training superhero to some extent:

"I certainly think it will represent the next stage," he explained. "What I find fascinating is that we’re still very much amateur-hour Speedster." That's a journey Miller's clearly keen to continue in any potential future movies: "I’d love for the series to track an evolution of Barry Allen’s early times as The Flash."

How Would You Play Westworld?

Spoilers for Westworld follow.

The futuristic theme park at the center of HBO’s Westworld is a video game taken to the logical conclusion of open world and VR gaming. That much is obvious. But some of the questions at the heart of the show can be reflected back on us, the viewer, and the entertainment we watch and the games we play right here in the year 2016.

The series’ co-creator Jonathan Nolan relayed a story at New York Comic-Con’s Westworld panel last month (moderated by IGN’s own Man in Black, Eric Goldman!) that he had heard from BioShock Infinite designer Ken Levine. Levine was talking about the non-player characters like Elizabeth. “In a scene

Hacker Convicted After Stealing $16 Million in FIFA Coins

Hacker Anthony Clark, 24, from California, has been convicted of wire fraud following a scheme that involved defrauding EA of FIFA coins to the value of $16 million.

As Eurogamer reports, the popularity of FIFA worldwide has led to black market trading of the game’s in-game currency. In short, the currency, which can be purchased with real world money, has a value online where it can be sold without EA’s permission for less than it costs to buy it legally.

The FBI accused Clark and three other co-conspirators – Nick Castellucci, 24, of New Jersey, Ricky Miller, 24, of Arlington, Texas, and Eaton Zveare, 24, of Lancaster, Virginia – of building software which logged thousands of FIFA matches within a matter of seconds, resulting in EA’s servers crediting Clark and co. with coins they had "earned" from gameplay.
