Borderlands star Florian Munteanu has spoken about how his movie version of Krieg will differ slightly from the character's video game counterpart.

Munteanu, who has been cast as the psycho bandit in Eli Roth's Borderlands movie, spoke to Screen Rant about how the game-to-film adaptation has handled his character, admitting that fans shouldn't expect "exactly the same" from his portrayal of Krieg as they have observed while playing the video game, though he believes audiences will ultimately enjoy his take.

"I mean, the character Krieg is such a fan-favorite and I feel like what [fans] saw in the game, or what they are used to seeing in the game, they can't expect exactly the same," Munteanu explained. "I'm bringing my fighting style to the table as well as a humoristic way of playing the character. I think people will love it. But we'll have to wait until next year for that."

Krieg is one of the six playable characters in Borderlands 2. He's from a bandit family and was treated rather unfairly by his mother for being weaker than the rest. This fuels him to grow stronger, but it's not until he's captured by Dr. Benedict that he becomes the Krieg of Borderlands 2. Dr. Benedict experiments on him and others, turning them into "Psychos."

Krieg eventually breaks out of Dr. Benedict's facility, kills him, and becomes a bit of a torn soul akin to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. One half of Krieg's personality is that of a Psycho and the other is his former, more sane self. Eventually, Psycho Krieg takes over and that's who we see in the game. Roth admitted Krieg was the most difficult character to cast in the movie.

"Florian brings real humanity and multiple layers to a character who on the surface seems totally insane and brutally savage," Roth said previously. "Krieg was by far the most difficult role to cast, and Florian brought him to life and grounded him in a way that I didn't know was possible. He's going to be a brilliant Krieg and will fit in perfectly with our incredible cast."

Munteanu features in the stacked cast for Borderlands: The Movie, due out in 2022, alongside Cate Blanchett's Lilith, Jamie Lee Curtis' Dr. Tannis, Jack Black's Claptrap, Gina Gershon's Moxxi, Janina Gavankar's Commander Knox, Kevin Hart's Roland, and Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, a feral pre-teen demolitionist whom Krieg is in charge of protecting.

If you are still looking to purchase a GPU in the RTX 30 series, Best Buy will once again sell these GPUs in-stores tomorrow.

Best Buy did not disclose which RTX 30 cards will be resupplied. Currently, seven graphics cards make up the RTX 30 series, from the RTX 3060 to the RTX 3090.

More than 80 Best Buy locations across 45 states (plus Puerto Rico) will have "will have limited quantities available." According to Best Buy, each participating store will enforce a one per customer limit to ensure as many people can purchase a GPU as possible.

To ensure that the one per custom limit is enforced, beginning at 7:30am local time, participating Best Buy locations will hand out tickets to those waiting in line. Obtaining a ticket guarantees that you will be able to purchase an RTX 30 graphics card inside the store beginning at 8 am local time.

This is the third time Best Buy has sold Nvidia's highly desirable graphics cards. The first one happened in June, when the company sold the RTX 3080 Ti Founder's Edition in-stores only. As part of the game's 3.3.0 update, Bungie announced in a blog post that it had added its anti-cheat software Battleye to Destiny 2 in order to boost security and enable the developer to detect more active cheats within the game.

Bungie admits that Battleye isn't a "silver bullet" that will wipe out cheaters in the game altogether but instead "another step in [its] strategy to combat cheats and improve [its] detection and banning methods." The developer notes that the anti-cheat system requires additional system resources in order to run and that players may "see some reduction in frames and performance after Update 3.3.0 goes live."

In addition to potentially experiencing drops in framerate during gameplay, players may also encounter increased start-up times when booting up Destiny 2. For now, Bungie is testing how Battleye performs at scale in the live game while the developer ensures accuracy, meaning that the system won't be implementing automatic bans for the time being. However, the studio says that it hopes to allow the anti-cheat to automatically issue bans without a manual review before the game's next Trials of Osiris event launches on September 10.

In addition to adding further components to the game's in-house anti-cheat system, Bungie has also been attempting to tackle cheaters in the real world. In January, we wrote about a lawsuit being filed by Riot and Bungie against a cheat-making company alleged to have produced software hacks for Valorant and Destiny 2. New footage from The Batman was revealed by Warner Bros. during CinemaCon and it promises a dark and brooding Gotham for Robert Pattinson's Batman to tame.

The Wrap, a publication that was in attendance during Warner Bros'. CinemaCon showing, writes that the new look at Matt Reeves' Batman movie begins with a Gotham seemingly in chaos. Bruce Wayne is seen walking through the city's streets before "he rises."

It's unclear if that means Pattinson's Bruce Wayne quickly flies up, perhaps by zipline, or if the scene transitions to a Batman rising up into the Gotham sky. The Wrap writes that Zoe Kravitz' Catwoman and Jeffrey Wright's Commissioner Gordon also made appearances in the sizzle reel.

Aaron Couch, an editor for The Hollywood Reporter who was also in attendance at the showing, wrote on Twitter that Warner Bros. revealed a sizzle reel of The Batman before playing the trailer first shown at DC FanDome last year. Couch says the trailer "looked amazing on the big screen."

ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis also saw the new footage, describing it as a "long, dark, epic behind-the-scenes featurette" on Twitter. Davis also called the new footage of The Batman "amazing," noting that director Reeves spoke more about the Year One aspect of the movie’s story. The Wrap's report says Reeves promised an "emotional Batman movie" unlike anything seen before.

Warner Bros. unveiled the first official footage of the fourth entry in The Matrix series during its CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday. The studio also officially confirmed that the title of the long-awaited sequel is The Matrix Resurrections.

While the footage isn't currently available to the public, attendees at CinemaCon report that the reveal featured the return of both Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity.

According to Deadline, the trailer begins with Keanu Reeves' Neo talking to a therapist played by Neil Patrick Harris in a futuristic San Francisco. Much like in the first Matrix film, Neo seems to have a sense of unease about the world surrounding him.

"Am I crazy?" Reeves asks. "We don't use that word in here," replies Harris.

According to The Hollywood Reporter's Aaron Couch, Neo is seen taking "two blue pills a day, prescribed by his doctor."

Neo then encounters Carrie Anne Moss' Trinity in a coffee shop, though the pair don't recognize one another. It seems that neither has any memories of the events of the previous Matrix films. "Have we met?" Trinity asks.

Later on, a character that seems to be a younger version of Morpheus tells Neo that it's "time to fly" while handing him a red pill. Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit scores some of the footage. The trailer culminates in some acrobatics and martial arts that fit the Matrix mold, along with a moment involving Neo controlling a missile through telekinesis.

The fourth Matrix movie was rumored to be titled The Matrix Resurrections back in January. While Laurence Fishburne has stated that he won't return as Morpheus in the upcoming sequel, the ensemble does include returning franchise cast members Jada Pinkett-Smith, Daniel Bernhardt, and Lambert Wilson. Harris is joined by other series newcomers like Christina Ricci, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Priyanka Chopra, and Jonathan Groff.

The Matrix Resurrections will hit theaters and HBO Max (for 31 days) on December 22.

The Gunk, the latest game from the Steamworld creators Image & Form (part of Thunderful), is now set for an Xbox console and PC launch this December.

Revealed alongside a new gameplay trailer during the Gamescom 2021 Xbox stream, Thunderful confirmed The Gunk will be released sometime in December 2021, though did not offer an exact release date just yet. You can check out the new gameplay below.

Developed in Unreal Engine 4, Thunderful explained that The Gunk will run at a stable 30 fps on Xbox One, while it will play at 60 fps and up to 4K resolution on Xbox Series X and S and PC.

Players take on the role of Rani, who, along with her partner Becks, arrive on an alien planet only to discover the titular gunk, which is damaging their new environment. The Gunk has a focus on exploration, and will introduce players to a number of different biomes, such as "a rocky canyon region, a dense jungle, deep subterranean caves (we couldn’t help ourselves) and a few more surprises, too," according to Thunderful's Ulf Hartelius on the Xbox Wire.

Rani uses her proesthetic power-glove, known as Pumpkin, to clean up the gunk as she aims to save these natural environments from corruption.

Thunderful first debuted The Gunk last year, marking a shift away from the familiar aesthetic of the developer's acclaimed Steamworld series. We awarded he last SteamWorld release, SteamWorld Quest, an 8.6 review, saying its "card-based RPG combat offers an insane amount of choice, making it as flexible as it is fun."
