Season 2 of Halo 5 Hunt the Truth Podcast Is Coming
343 Industries confirmed Season 2 of the Halo 5 podcast, Hunt the Truth, today at its San Diego Comic-Con panel.
Coming in September, it will run though Halo 5's release on October 27. If you haven't listened, Hunt the Truth follows fictional journalist and war photographer Benjamin Giraud on his investigation into the origins of Halo hero Master Chief.
The first season's 13 episodes reached more than 5.5 million listeners.

The Agents of Atlas Return for Secret Wars
Secret Wars fans can look forward to at least one new tie-in before the event wraps up in October. At the Marvel: Secret Wars panel at SDCC this morning, Marvel announced a new one-shot issue called Secret Wars: Agents of Atlas #1.
The tie-in will be written by Tom Taylor (Superior Iron Man) and drawn by Steve Pugh (All-New Invaders). It takes place in a Battleworld domain ruled by Baron Zemo and where the Agents of Atlas serve as an underground resistance group. The comic will follow their attempts to rescue their leader, Jimmy Woo, from Zemo's clutches. Agent Coulson will appear in the issue alongside traditional Agents of Atlas roster Venus, Gorilla-Man, Namora, M-11 and Marvel Boy.

Ballers Renewed for Season 2
HBO has picked up its summer series Ballers, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Rob Corddry, for a second season.
“The charismatic and hugely talented Dwayne Johnson, along with the rest of the Ballers cast, has truly struck a chord with the HBO audience,” said Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response the series has received and look forward to another exciting season.”

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3: Open World, Open Season
Contrary to assumptions, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 isn’t just a Call of Duty clone. It remains entirely true to the franchise’s central gameplay pillars: challenging, long-distance sniper shots that require you to calibrate your scope, compensate for wind, adjust your stance, check your breathing, and more; tactical infiltration and exfiltration that demand patience, planning, and stealth; and a near complete lack of support should you find yourself outnumbered. Running-and-gunning — while technically possible — will still get you killed more often than not. In short, the game is geared towards a specific type of disciplined, hardcore first-person shooter fan.
That said, there’s plenty that’s new or expanded compared to previous iterations, some of which should appeal to a slightly broader swath of gamers. Most importantly, Sniper 3 offers the largest, most open world the series has ever seen, one filled with dense forests, rural outposts, and even thriving cities. Structurally, it actually feels like a grittier Far Cry 4 (and incidentally, the game is powered by CryEngine 3). The basic premise casts you as a self-sufficient American special ops sniper dropped illegally behind enemy lines in the midst of a Georgian civil war. While you’ll be given several general objectives that guide you through a narrative arc, you must uncover specific missions as you go, meaning you’re simply let loose on a completely open world map dotted with activities to explore in basically any order.

Ubisoft CEO Talks Xbox One Backwards Compatibility
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has branded the ability to play your Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One as "very good news".
Speaking to investors after its most recent financials were revealed, Guillemot explained it means older titles are likely to still see sales.
“It’s good news for gamers that Microsoft was able to work on the compatibility aspect. They expect to come with 100 titles quite quickly, so that’s really good news,” he said. "It will help some of the brands, like Splinter Cell for us, to come to Xbox One, which is great."
Xbox One's backwards compatibility feature was one of the biggest surprises to come out of E3—so naturally, when we finally got back to the office after the show, we tested it out straight away. We've also managed to find out heaps of new info about what the feature will allow, including being able to play older titles online with gamers who own an Xbox 360, and how Achievements will function.
