X-Men: Apocalypse Footage Debuts at Comic-Con
Speaking at Comic-Con, Director Bryan Singer introduced the first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer by saying that the film opens on a world that has come to accept mutants for the most part, due to Mystique's (Jennifer Lawrence) actions in the end of Days of Future Past. It's 1983, and for unknown reasons, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) has awoken.

It begins as Jean Grey (Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner) has a vision of the end of the world. "All I could feel is death." Professor X (James McAvoy) assures her that it was only a dream.
We're introduced to Apocalypse: an ancient, god-like mutant who has been around since the dawn of human kind. He speaks:
The Last Man on Earth: Season 2 to Show Life After Tuscon
Creator Will Forte and Executive Producer Chris Miller feel that one of the strengths of The Last Man Standing is how surprising it is. So there weren't a lot of reveals at their Comic-Con panel, though we did get a few clues. January Jones was in attendance, which seems to be a strong indicator that Melissa will be back next season (although it was a running gag during the panel that she had been brought to Comic-Con to be fired). Phil will be back to sporting the bushy beard he had when the series began and Carol will be calling him Phil, not Tandy.
WIll and Carol will be moving away from Tuscon and the writers plan to take advantage of "the concept of the show", which could mean Will and Carol will be exploring more of the (virtually) deserted country. Jason Sudeikis will play a part in Season 2, and though it could be in a flashback, it was heavily implied that he will be returning to Earth and not still in space.
Maxwell Lord Is Coming to Supergirl
Warner Bros. has confirmed that DC Comics character Maxwell Lord will join Supergirl this fall, plus a pair of new villains.
Maxwell Lord will be played by Peter Facinelli (The Twilight Saga, Nurse Jackie) on the show. In the comics, Lord is a long-running character who has toed the line between hero and villain in the past. In Supergirl, “Maxwell is a green tech billionaire who enjoys a friendly rivalry with Cat Grant and a fascination with National City’s newest arrival — Supergirl,” according to Warner Bros.
Hannibal: Could the Show Live on as a Movie?
Hannibal fans hoping for news of a Season 4 pick-up for the now cancelled series were disappointed that creator Bryan Fuller had no news of a new home for the series. Fuller suggested that perhaps the story might continue as a feature film, an intriguing idea that kept the panel from feeling like a wake. Ballroom 20 was teaming with flower crowns and antlers--in fact, Fuller, producer Martha De Laurentiis, and actors Hugh Dancy and Richard Armitage joined the Fannibals and wore flower crowns during the entire panel.
Fans did get to see an exciting trailer focused on the Red Dragon arc that will take us through the end of the season. Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) plays Francis Dolarhyde, who becomes an infamous serial killer dubbed "The Tooth Fairy" by the tabloid press. According to Fuller, Will sees Dolarhyde as a stand-in for Hannibal whom he can actually save, while Hannibal sees him as a stand-in for Will whom he can corrupt.
Legends of Tomorrow: Hawkman Is Coming
Hawkman -- IGN's #56 comic book hero -- is coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, DC CCO Geoff Johns confirmed during San Diego Comic-Con.
Johns didn't reveal any casting decisions, or which version of Hawkman we'd see.

Two New Characters Revealed for Arrow Season 4
Two notable characters are joining the cast of the Arrow in the coming season, as revealed today during the Warner Bros. and DC television panel at San Diego Comic Con.
A longtime villain of the DC universe, the news of Anarky's arrival in CW's Arrow was corroborated on the show writers' verified Twitter.
The other character joining the ranks of Arrow is none other than Mr. Terrific, who will work alongside Felicity. This version of the character also "happens to be gay," according to Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim.
In other Comic Con Arrow news, it was revealed that Oliver Queen will be donning a new Arrow costume in the show's fourth season, making him more reminiscent of Green Arrow's look in the New 52.
Vixen: See the Animated Arrow/Flash Spinoff’s First Trailer
Warner Bros. TV has released a trailer for CW Seed's animated Arrow/The Flash spinoff series, Vixen. Check it out below.
Vixen features Arrow and The Flash actors Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, and more.
Vixen - whose actual name is Mari McCabe - is a superhero whose powers are granted to her by the Tantu Totem she inherited from her parents. Using the Totem, Vixen is able to adopt the abilities of any animal, be it flight, super strength, speed, and others. The short animated series is expected to stream online sometime this summer.

The Flash Adds Jay Garrick, Wally West for Season 2
During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con tonight, DC announced multiple new comics characters headed to season two of The Flash, plus the show's new villain.
The first confirmed new character is Jay Garrick, who will be played by actor Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex, Raising the Bar). In the comics, Garrick is the original Flash, created long before Barry Allen took up the mantle. According to The CW, on the show, Garrick is “a mysterious figure who arrives in Central City to warn Barry Allen and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs of an impending danger that he alone cannot hope to stop.”
Jessica Jones Set Photos Revealed
Marvel and Netflix revealed the first set photos from Jessica Jones, featuring the title character, played by Krysten Ritter, and a flame-engulfed Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter.
The photo series, via CBR, shows Cage walking out of a building, completely on fire, before collapsing on the street. In the next few images, the fire has been put out and Jessica Jones is by his side.
Jessica Jones is expected to debut on Netflix late this year, the second in a series of Marvel TV shows on Netflix, of which Daredevil was the first. It will be followed up with a Luke Cage show and then an Iron Fist show.
Grayson And Turtles Dominate Upstarts Panel
DC Comics played up the new blood in their The Upstarts panel, which featured Lee Bermejo, Tom King, Steve Orlando, Mark Russell, Bab Tarr, James Tynion, Cameron Stewart and Tim Seeley.
Fellow creator Brenden Fletcher moderated and began by mentioning the somewhat ambiguous title of the panel. He then took to the books, beginning with the Black Canary series he's currently working on with Annie Wu. Talking of how her supporting role in Batgirl (also written by Fletcher) lead into her own series, Fletcher described the title as "A Kung Fu road trip." He likened Dinah's stint as band lead to Clark Kent's own day job, and went on to discuss what we can expect in upcoming issues. "The first few issues will focus on what this band is and how they can stay together," Fletcher explained. "In issues #4 and #5, someone new will take the stage and maybe this will be the next new villain for Black Canary."
