Largest Winged Dinosaur Discovered

Researchers have found the largest winged dinosaur on record in China.

The Guardian reports that the new species has been named Zhenyuanlong suni, and the fossil is so well-preserved that scientists have been able to reconstruct the placement of its plumage. It measures two full meters in length. Despite its impressive wingspan, though, researchers say it probably wasn't able to fly.

The sample has since been removed, but EW has collected the material revealing Wedge not at the helm of his signature X-Wing starfighter, but rather behind the controls of a beaten-up Starhopper spacecraft. The former Rogue Squadron member is searching the Outer Rim territories for evidence of Imperial factions still active months after the Battle of Endor.
