Annabelle’s John Leonetti to Direct Tag Film Adaptation

The body horror graphic novel Tag will soon be brought to the big screen.

Not unlike the recent horror film It Follows, Tag centers on a curse transmitted between people at the curse holder's will. In the book, a man has the curse inflicted upon him by the "tag" of a random stranger and soon finds his body beginning to decompose while he's yet living. In order to rid himself of the curse, the man has to decide between finding the origin of the curse and breaking it, or passing it along onto some other unwitting victim.

Deadline reports the full details remain somewhat unclear, it's likely this will follow the same formula while also adding in elements of the supernatural and a female protagonist.

Just Cause 3’s Challenge Modes Look Insanely Fun

If you didn't get a chance to play the Just Cause 3 demo at Gamescom, Game Director Roland Lesterlin has given us some exclusive footage of the open-world adventure game's action-packed challenge modes for you to enjoy. Check it out in the video above.

The first mode shown off in the demo is the Sirocco Sky Tour, one of Just Cause 3's intense wingsuit races that will have you soaring through a series of colored rings for points. The closer to the center of each ring you can get, the higher your score will be. Some rings even give you bonus points for flying through at dangerously low altitudes.

After that, Lesterlin walks us through a destruction frenzy, game modes that unlock after you've liberated a base. The map shown in the demo is a place called Vigilator Sud, which the player is given infinite RPGs with which to destroy. The timer is set for 1:30, but it doesn't actually start counting down until one thing in the base is fully destroyed – in the case of Lesterlin's demo, a huge radar dish that takes eight rockets to finally send crumbling down.
