Disney Details The Hulk Playmation Starter Set
Disney has showcased what’s inside the Playmation Incredible Hulk Starter Set.
Each set comes with a pair of Hulk hands, a power activator, and an exclusive Loki smart-figure.
The Playmation Avengers range is a series of wearable toys designed to let kids create their own adventures. Think back to when you were a kid. You’re in a big open field, running around with mates pretending to shoot things with imaginary guns (probably made out of sticks). That’s what Disney is aiming for, albeit with modern smart technology.
The press release explains the starter set as so: “Users can put on Gamma Gear to defeat enemies, pound the ground to create a shockwave, and run through increasingly larger obstacles (think tanks and helicopters) while earning new powers in the process.”

The game will be available for £8 / $10 / €10 and will feature cross-buy support.
In our Xeodrifter review, we said that "Xeodrifter's mix of old-school 2D platformer sensibilities and new-school visual effects is charming".

This is When Sony’s Paris Games Week Conference is
Sony has confirmed its PlayStation conference at this year's Paris Games Week will take place on October 27 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT.
This is the first year the company has decided to hold a press conference at the show, after it opted not to have a presence at Gamescom due to the German event's proximity to E3 this year.
"We're delighted to announce that we will be hosting an international media briefing at Paris Games Week," it said at the time. "With the changes this year of E3 taking place a week later and Gamescom taking place earlier, we feel that both PlayStation and the wider industry would benefit from a major news milestone later in the year, during the most important period for gaming."

Exploring an Eerie and Empty Space Station in Tacoma
The term ‘walking simulator’ is garbage. It’s a pejorative label laced with contempt and, when applied to stuff like Dear Esther, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, or Gone Home, it undermines the interesting and original experiences games like these can offer. It ignores the fact that these games are about exploration and discovery; they’re not about walking. It’s a stubborn oversimplification.
There’s no real preamble to my Tacoma demo; I’m simply handed a controller and a pair of headphones and deposited directly into it. It’s hard to say whether this is by design or to simply give us some rapid respite from the din as volleys of bullets bark from louder demos blaring behind the thin walls of the surrounding cubicles. Either way, it quickly feels like the right way to be introduced to Tacoma; like Gone Home before it Tacoma feels like a mystery box. The less you know about exactly what’s inside it the more engaging those first moments can be.
