New 12.9-Inch iPad Pro Rumored to Enter Production in October
Reliable rumors of a larger iPad, unofficially referred to as the 'iPad Pro," have put production for the device as early as September or October of this year.
According to a Mac Rumors report citing KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the 12.9" device will include a Force Touch stylus to help users navigate the increased screen real estate.
Back in March, Apple announced its lightest MacBook Air ever. If the rumored specs on the iPad Pro turn out to be true, then the new tablet's screen will be just a hair smaller than the 13" version of the MacBook Air.
New Kingdom Hearts 3 Footage to Debut at D23 Expo Japan
Those hoping to see more of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 won't have to wait too long.
All-new footage of Square Enix's upcoming action game will be shown during the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater Event at Disney's 2015 D23 Expo in Japan.
Gematsu reports the event will be a talk show-like production with special guests and unique footage of Kingdom Hearts 3 in action. The event will take place twice on November 3. Those interested in learning more can visit Disney Japan's official event page.

Bungie Reveals Vault Space Fix for Destiny Year 2
Bungie has revealed that vault space in Destiny will be increased to 72 slots for both weapons and armor, effectively doubling the vault space available to Guardians.
This announcement, made during Destiny's Year 2 Reveal live stream by community manager Deej, aims to address one of the major, long running concerns of the Destiny community who have struggled for some time to find ways to filter, organize, and store the weapons, armor, materials, and cosmetics they've accumulated in the game.
Yo-Kai Watch Release Date Revealed
Nintendo of America has announced Yo-Kai Watch will come out November 6.
The handheld RPG features over 200 different Yo-kai to discover and is created by Professor Layton developer Level-5. Nintendo is publishing Yo-Kai Watch and partnering with other companies, like Disney XD and Hasbro, with the show and toys based off the franchise.
Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, talked to IGN about the importance of Yo-Kai Watch earlier this year, believing the game could drive 3DS hardware sales. "We think the pairing of this game, especially with our 2DS business, can be quite strong," he said at E3 2015. "And we’re very excited about it coming this holiday."
$1 Million Up for Grabs in Japanese Splatoon Tournament
The best Splatoon players in Japan will soon be able to compete for a respectable amount of prize money.
The Kadokawa Dwango corporation is hosting the Splatoon Koshien eSports series, during which 40 events will take place across eight cities across Japan. The tournament begins on September 17 in Fukuoka, and the Grand Finals are scheduled for January 30-31, 2016.
In addition to Splatoon, tournament contestants have the chance to claim some of the prize winnings in games of competitive Puzzle & Dragons.
Tokaigi (the Nico venue) just announced a huge tournament series for Splatoon and Puzzle&Dragons. Over $1 million in prize money,>40 events.

How DC Made the New ‘Negative’ Superman Design
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Justice League #43!
Today's Justice League #43 gave us the third chapter of the Darkseid War where the team of heroes gets caught between the clashing forces of Darkseid and his nemesis the Anti-Monitor. The League has been split up, with Superman traveling to Apokolips with Lex Luthor, Batman diving into the Multiverse with Green Lantern using his new godly powers, and Wonder Woman leading the rest into a massive battle between the two titans.
We talked to writer Geoff Johns and artist Jason Fabok about the big events in this week's issue, the most noteworthy being Superman absorbing the energies of an Apokolips fire pit in a bid to restore his powers, only to be negatively super-charged and be transformed into an angry, color-reversed Superman. PlayStation Accepting Beta Testers for PS4 System Updates
Sony is now accepting applications to beta test future PlayStation 4 firmware updates.
According to PS Blog, PS4 owners can sign up on the PlayStation website to test the functionality of the next incoming major system update. The number of beta testers will be limited.
The beta program is expected to begin in early September.
PS4 beta testers will have the ability to roll back to the previous version of the PS4 system software, currently v2.57, at any time.
