7 of the Creepiest Video Game Commercials Ever Made
Incorporating suspense and terror into a video game commercial isn't easy. That's probably why most ads in general go the comedy route.
But this collection of commercials showcases that scary is possible in a brief amount of time. And unsurprisingly, the classics are represented, from Resident Evil 2 to Silent Hill 2 to Dead Space.
So in celebration of Halloween, check out seven scary game commercials below (even though the first one wasn't intentionally creepy).
So which video got under your skin? I know it wasn't supposed to be scary, but that NES commercial from down under gives me the creeps. I'm also a fan of the Dead Space commercial for putting a new, dark twist on the song, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."

If you don't have and iOS device, then you'll have to manually enter your Apple ID, which turned out to be a chore with the Siri Remote's trackpad.
Breakthrough: Is Beer the End-All Clean Energy Source?
Writer-producer Akiva Goldsman may be busy overseeing the Transformers franchise, but that doesn't mean he can't also do his part to solve the clean energy crisis.
Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to speak with Goldsman about National Geographic's new docuseries Breakthrough, debuting this Sunday. Developed for TV by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and others, the series explores the cutting-edge innovations and scientific advancements in our immediate future and beyond. Each hour-long episode is directed by a Hollywood personality -- Goldsman, Howard, Angela Bassett, Peter Berg, Paul Giamatti and Brett Ratner -- and focuses on topics ranging from de-aging technology to the ongoing water shortage.
Here’s 5 Seconds of Preacher Footage
AMC has released the first official look at its upcoming series Preacher.
The show, based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon comic book series, tells the story of Rev. Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a Texas-based preacher who merges with a celestial entity, granting him the ability to command others to obey his will.
For a sneak peek at what's in store for Custer, check out the five-second teaser below.
The first full-length trailer will make its debut during the next episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, which airs this coming Sunday, November 1.
Preacher doesn't yet have a firm release date, but the Seth Rogen-produced series will see a 10-episode season sometime in mid-2016.
Apple TV 4 Photo Gallery
The all new fourth generation Apple TV is here. In the box, you'll find the streaming box, the all new Siri Remote, a power cable, and a Lightning cable (used to charge the remote). The big omission is the HDMI cable, which you'll need to hook up the device to your television.
The Apple TV itself is larger this time, but shares the same footprint as the previous generation Apple TV. It's a bit taller, but that's expected since Apple stuffed it with more powerful components like the A8 processor and flash storage.
The Apple TV is available today for $149 for the 32GB model and $199 for the 64GB model. We'll have a full review of the Apple TV soon so stay tuned.
