Power Rangers Writer Dicusses Green Ranger: Year One
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic by BOOM! Studios is set to hit in March 2016, so in the meantime we had a chat with series writer Kyle Higgins about what to expect from the comic, drawn by Hendry Prasetya. He fills us in on what the story will be, his favorite Rangers, and even addresses a small piece of MMPR continuity for us.

Screen Actors Guild Snubs Martian, Hateful Eight
The Screen Actors Guild announced their nominations today for the 22nd annual SAG Awards and two major ensemble-driven films were particularly notable in being completely shut out of the race: The Martian and The Hateful Eight.
While the snub of Tarantino's Hateful Eight could be chalked up to the film simply not being shown to SAG voters in time, The Martian's snub is more curious. David O. Russell's ensemble film Joy was also shut out.
The Bryan Cranston-led Trumbo dominated the motion picture nominations, with noms going to Cranston as lead actor, Helen Mirren (best supporting actress), and best cast. Sarah Silverman is widely seen as a surprise nominee in the best actress category for her dramatic turn in I Smile Back.

MS Working to Make 360 Games Available to Buy on XB1
Microsoft is currently "working on a solution" to make Xbox 360 games available for purchase on Xbox One, according to Head of Xbox Phil Spencer.
In response to a fan's request on Twitter to make backwards compatible Xbox 360 games available for purchase on Xbox One, Spencer said: "We've heard this request and we are working on a solution."

Qwerkywriter is a $400 Keyboard You’ll Love or Hate
When I received the Qwerkywriter, everyone passing my desk had to check it out. Everyone was drawn to its design. It looks like a typewriter, but is actually a mechanical keyboard. It’s rounded keycaps and shiny chrome line space lever harken back to classic typewriters and its aluminum build exudes quality. Nintendo Teams Up With Mercedes Again in Super Mario Maker
Nintendo and Mercedes have teamed up to bring a themed level to Super Mario Maker.
The Mercedes-Benz Jump'n'Drive level is available today as an event course, which can be found with other special levels brought to players from Nintendo and its collaborators. Players who complete the level will receive a Mercedes-Benz GLA costume, which lets Mario cruise around in his new luxury car. The level and the costume are free.
“Super Mario Maker continues to grow and evolve with new courses and content,” says Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “It’s great that a luxury car brand like Mercedes-Benz recognizes the ability to create fun courses and share them with others.”
