Steam Reportedly Going to Accept Bitcoin
It seems as though Valve is getting ready to accept payment for Steam purchases via digital currency bitcoin.
PCGamesN first reported the news, with screenshots from an announcement on the private developer forums on Steam starting to appear.
"We're using an external payment provider to process bitcoin payments to help partners reach more customers on Steam," reads the announcement (via Reddit). "If customers choose to pay via bitcoin, they'll still be charged the price already set in the local currency."
IGN UK Podcast: Why the Crystal Maze Was A-Mazing
The Crystal Maze was arguably the greatest game show ever to feature small rooms, mental challenges, jumpsuits, and tinfoil money. Chris even had a chance to take part in a recreation of the show this week.
We also explain why Stickbold! is so great and so addictive, why The Jungle Book is fantastic, and why allowing people to text in the cinema is an outrageous idea. So watch the video up above or download the audio below or over on iTunes

Overwatch Team ‘Failed Horrifically’ on Blizzard’s Titan MMO
Designer Jeff Kaplan has spoken about Blizzard's cancelled MMO, Titan.
In an interview with Gamespot, Kaplan said "you had a really amazing group that was working on Titan...They were really talented individuals, but we failed horrifically in every way... In every way that a project can fail. It was devastating."
Members of the team had previously worked on World of Warcraft and other successful Blizzard properties. "To go through such a complete and utter failure is very hard for people who are used to experiencing success," Kaplan continued. "Here you have these great projects like StarCraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and then you're sitting on the smoking pile of a cancelled project."
The Division: New Exploit Found Hours After Ubisoft Fixes Another
Ubisoft keeps putting out The Division-related fires, but new ones keep appearing.
Two major exploits were patched out of the Division yesterday, one of which was a "double revive" glitch, and the other allowed you to massively increase damage by switching weapons quickly.
Today, Eurogamer reports another bug has been found which means you're able to fool the enemies into killing the Falcon Lost incursion's boss for you.
Hitman Patch Prepares for Episode 2, Improves Load Times
Hitman is getting a Sapienza pre-release update before Episode 2 launches on April 26.
The update adds a couple of features to the PC version that will be coming soon on console. Namely, an option to instantly reconnect after losing connection, rather than returning to the main menu, and in addition, Challenges are now awarded and saved immediately upon completion, rather than at the end of a mission.
Load times have been improved in the update. Xbox and PS4 players should be seeing around a 50 percent improvement across all locations.
There are now HUD options for displaying the holstered/equipped icon. Full HUD shows it for both equipped and holstered, Minimal shows it for just the equipped weapon, and Off removes the HUD entirely. You'll also now be able to see dropped items such as disguises, weapons, and items on the in-game map.

Vikings: Meet the Four New Vikings Vying for Kingship
Spoilers for Vikings' Season 4 midseason finale, "The Last Ship," continue below. If you haven't seen the episode yet, this article discusses some major reveals.
Goodbye, young sons of Ragnar, and hello, new adult Vikings ready to vie for Kattegat's kingship.
Vikings jumped over a decade into the future at the end of its Season 4 midseason finale, moving far past Ragnar's defeat in Paris to a point in the future where his young sons are now grown men. With the flash forward in time, fans of the series were introduced to the new actors who will be playing Ivar, Ubbe, Sigurd and Hvitserk.
Check out exclusive photos of the new cast members below:
The casting of Marco Islø as Hvitserk, Alex Høgh Andersen as Ivar, Jordan Patrick Smith as Ubbe and David Lindstron as Sigurd has been kept a secret for months; when IGN visited the set of Vikings in October, none of the new actors were able to tell their friends or family why they had been spending so much time in Dublin. Fortunately, that doesn't need to be kept a secret anymore.
8 Reasons Why Homefront: The Revolution Will Be Great
Homefront: The Revolution is locked in to hit shelves next month, and from my hour of hands-on time, it’s actually shaping up to be a sleeper hit. While my freelance peer John Robertson wasn’t a fan after his time with the game, I have to respectfully disagree with his take on Homefront: The Revolution and feel it’s worth highlighting why it’s worth keeping an eye on.
In no particular order, here’s 8 reasons why Homefront: The Revolution is shaping up to be more than a competent shooter.
There’s a reason why it’s subtitled ‘The Revolution’ and not slapped with the number ‘2’ as a title suffix. Homefront: The Revolution isn’t a sequel, and it’s not a prequel. In fact, when chatting with Dambuster Studios producer David Stenton, he confirmed that the only thing taken from the original Homefront game is the premise: North Korea invading North America. In other words, The Revolution is a reboot. Despite borrowing the premise, the fictionalised backstory of how the North Korean invasion comes to be is both reimagined and more compelling than the Red Dawn-style approach to the original game.
