Game of Thrones: Arya’s 9 Best Moments
Spoilers for Arya Stark-related stories and activities from the first five seasons of HBO's Game of Thrones...
Like most kids in Westeros, young Arya Stark of Winterfell grew up too fast. Thanks to numerous, immeasurable atrocities in the realm, Arya learned at a very early age that the world was a cruel, unjust place. After witnessing her father's death, she's been on a revenge arc - one that seems to be leading her further and further away from true retribution. One that's even now, in the sixth season, leading her away from herself and her entire identity.
That being said, Arya's rage and penchant for unapologetic violence has been of one of the purest joys on Game of Thrones. Watching her get bounced around from escort to escort - from dangerous situations to uneasy alliances - has provided viewers with some of the show's best scenes. And Arya's not done yet.

XCOM 2 Gets 5 Firaxis-Approved Mods From Long War Devs
XCOM 2 is getting another semi-official batch of new content, courtesy of modders-turned-developers.
After a previous collaboration to produce launch-day mods, XCOM 2 developer Firaxis has once again teamed up with the group that created The Long War mod for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which formally united as developer called Long War Studios, on five new developer-supported mods for the sequel. The first of those mods is available today.
Called Toolbox, this mod offers several new options and tweaks including interface enhancements that allow you to bring up to 12 XCOM operatives into battle – up from the standard of six – plus configurable camera rotation and display soldier stats in more menus. Additionally, it implements Long War Studios' versions of several options from XCOM: Enemy Unknown's Second Wave pack: Hidden Potential (randomized soldier stats), Red Fog (stat penalties for wounded soldiers), and Damage Roulette (increased damage variation). Though much of this functionality is already available through community-created mods, this version has Firaxis' blessing and was created with developer support, suggesting it might work more smoothly.
New Beetle Species Named After Chewbacca
One Star Wars stalwart has just been honored in a very peculiar way.
As reported by Discovery News, Trigonopterus chewbacca is a newly discovered species of beetle. The weevil looks very little like its Wookiee namesake, but scientists who identified the creature in New Guinea were reminded of the hairy arm-puller just the same.
