Star Wars: Rogue One Introduces Jedi Spiritual Home

In Star Wars, the Force has always had a mystical and religious component to it, but that aspect will become a bit more prominent in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In the film, we’ll travel to a new location called Jedah, and at Star Wars Celebration this weekend, director Gareth Edwards described Jedah as being on par with Mecca or Jerusalem as far as its significance for those who believe in the Force - even if they can't control it themselves.

Describing how Jedah came to be a part of the story, Edwards told a group of reporters, “It came from the fact that the era that our film is set in, in theory, doesn’t have any Jedi. So the idea of having a Star Wars film that doesn’t talk about the Force... If you look at what George

Guardians 2: Gamora and Nebula’s ‘Volatile’ Relationship

Actress Zoe Saldana chatted with us yesterday about what's going on between her character, Gamora, and her adopted sister Nebula in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

After being a nemesis in the first film, Nebula becomes a full-fledged member of the Guardians in the sequel, although it sounds like she's still not a lot of fun to be around.

"You’ll begin to get a glimpse of how terrible life must have been like to grow up with a crazy stepfather through Nebula," said Saldana in reference to cosmic conqueror Thanos, who raised both Nebula and Gamora. "Nebula is still in that teen-y, f*****g hateful s**t. She’s just resentful and bitter."

GRRM Thinks 2 Shows Were ‘Robbed’ of Emmy Noms

While enthusiastic about Game of Thrones' Emmy nomination dominance, A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin believes Penny Dreadful and Outlander were both snubbed by this year's awards.

"Outlander was robbed," Martin wrote in a comment on his blog. "All three leads were amazing... especially Tobias Menzies in his double role as Frank and Black Jack." The author added Penny Dreadful star Eva Green "also deserved a nomination." Earlier this week, IGN coincidentally named both Penny Dreadful and Outlander on our list of series we felt were overlooked by the Emmys, both currently and in the past.

Doctor Doom’s Infamous Iron Man Armor Revealed

Ahead of the fall debut of Marvel Comics' new Infamous Iron Man series, artist Alex Maleev has shared a few images of Doctor Doom's new Iron Man armor.

Maleev posted two pieces of concept art on Twitter (via CBR), which showcase a matte grey armor suit with a chrome mask, as well as Doctor Doom's iconic cape. It's essentially a modified Iron Man suit with Doom's signature color scheme and cape. Doom is a master of science, but also sorcery, so his armor will no doubt have some abilities Tony Stark's never did.
