Why American Horror Story Isn’t Revealing Its Theme for Season 6

Murder House. Asylum. Coven. Freak Show. Hotel. And... we still don't know yet? The theme of American Horror Story: Season 6 is being kept under wraps, and FX isn't going to be giving away the secret any time soon.

FX CEO John Landgraf explained the thinking behind the big AHS mystery during his executive session at the 2016 summer TV Critics' Association press tour, saying he and Ryan Murphy decided it might be fun to mix things up a bit six seasons into the anthology series' run.

"Every year we've basically laid out the themes and we've laid out the new genre Ryan would be approaching, and we just thought it would be fun to keep it a mystery, so we are," he said. The AHS team went so far as to have everything blacked out on scripts coming in that might give away the big reveal.

Forza Horizon 3 Is Mind-Blowing in 4K

Surely, at some point, those pixelated dust clouds suddenly grew in density, or repeated a formation, or even disappeared, but I couldn’t spot those changes. The dust seemed to move as unnaturally and unpredictably as if it were real, individual particles, not purposefully crafted effects, while it slowly coated the back of my car.

I originally got involved with Starcraft 2, the successor to one of the first real esports, Starcraft: Brood War.

Just as I started working for the IGN Pro League (or IPL for short) in 2011  an esports prize pool arms race kicked off, with our organization and NASL offering $100,000 prizes for Starcraft 2 tournaments. At the time, pro players like Geoff “iNcontroL” Robinson began saying to me that this amount of money just can’t be ignored. That this was a true difference maker between tournament providers.
