Posted on Twitter, the image shows the shoes of (clockwise from the top left corner) Brandon Routh's Atom, Grant Gustin's The Flash, Caity Lotz's White Canary, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl, and Amell's Green Arrow.

Man of Steel 2 Is Back on at Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. has reportedly placed a sequel to Man of Steel "into active development."

According to TheWrap, "DC has been silent on a sequel to Man of Steel featuring Superman solo, leading many frustrated fanboys to believe that another film wasn’t going to happen. But a person close to the project told TheWrap that Superman is a top priority for the studio and getting the character right for audiences is of tantamount importance."

As the site points out, another solo Superman film is still a ways off. Warners has two unspecified DC Films slated for release on October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019, but it's too soon to tell if Man of Steel 2 would be one of them.

Why Marvel Is Excited About FOX’s X-Men TV Series

The X-Men universe could soon be coming to a TV near you. In July, it was revealed that FOX and Marvel Television were teaming up on a new TV project with Burn Notice creator Matt Nix penning the script, and Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb is excited about Nix's take on the story.

"As an X-Men fan, and ultimately, what Matt -- the showrunner and creator -- brings to it is that the X-Men are always stories about family. That's where they start, that's where they live. It's about understanding how we deal with each other," Loeb explained to IGN at the summer 2016 TV Critics' Association press tour. "It's about parents that don't understand what's wrong with their kids, it's about kids that don't understand their parents. And he understood that. He got it."

Original Daredevil Showrunner Confirms He’s Involved in The Defenders

Drew Goddard may not have been as involved with Marvel’s Daredevil as originally intended, but the co-writer and director of The Cabin in the Woods and Academy Award nominated writer of The Martian has returned to the Marvel/Netflix fold for The Defenders series.

Goddard is listed as an executive producer on the series, which will team Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, and when I spoke to him this past week about the new NBC comedy series, The Good Place (Goddard directed the pilot), he told me his Defenders title isn’t just ceremonial and he is involved as much as he can be, while juggling other projects.

“I was there this morning,” Goddard said, referring to the Defenders writers room. “I’ll be there tomorrow. It’s been fun.
