Future PSVR Games Will Use Farpoint’s PS Aim Controller
Farpoint won't be the only PSVR title to make use of Sony's PS Aim controller, as SIE Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden has confirmed the company has additional, unannounced titles in development that use the gun peripheral.
"We haven't announced them yet, but yes we do," Layden told IGN when asked whether or not Sony has more software in the works for PS Aim, which promises 1:1 precision tracking. "That will be a continuum of development for VR titles."
Layden also expressed an interest in having Namco bring Point Blank to PlayStation VR with PS Aim support, saying, "I tried to get the guys at Namco to do... Remember Point Blank? Wouldn't you love that game? I'd love that game too. It would be perfect for our peripheral."
New LEGO Batman Movie Sets Revealed
LEGO has revealed three new sets based on The LEGO Batman Movie, which will be released globally in 2017.
Revealed on LEGO's Facebook page, the first set includes the Batcave, four variations of Batman, Bruce Wayne in a tuxedo, Alfred, Penguin, Batman's "Riptide" boat, and a duck-shaped vehicle labeled "duck and cover."
The Arkham Asylum set, meanwhile, appears to be the largest of the three. This set includes the asylum, Batman, Robin, police officers, and a handful of notable villains — The Joker, Dr. Quinzel, Two-Face, and more. Note the Two-Face figure appears to be based on Billy Dee Williams' portrayal of Harvey Dent in Batman (1989). The set also includes a police cruiser, security screening station, and plenty of accessories.
A.D. Explores a World Where Death Has Been Cured
In Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire’s upcoming comic, death has been cured. Titled A.D.: After Death, it combines prose and traditional comic booking to tell a story that not only pursues the mysteries of this post-mortality world, but delves deep into the memories of protagonist Jonah to examine the ever-present fear of death back when it existed.
"When I was working on it, the story spoke to some of the stuff that's really core to what I like to write about, and some of the fears that keep me up," said writer Snyder, whose credits include Batman, American Vampire, and The Wake. "Even more than that, it was working with Jeff, realizing that he has a place that he goes to in his graphic novels that's intensely personal and meditative and exploratory. And I realized if I was working him, and we don't get many chances to do that, I wanted it to be that way too, and really go as deep and personal as I could. It's emotionally autobiographical material, and I just wanted to be as open on the page as I could."
Nintendo Reveals Two New 2DS Colors
Nintendo revealed two new color schemes for its 2DS handheld today, citing an "unforeseen incident" as the reason for their creation.
The new scheme swaps the traditional color setup of the 2DS — black on the front, blue or red on the sides — putting the primary color front and center and shifting the black to the sides.
According to Nintendo, despite allowing Mario's brother Luigi to run the 2DS factory (as seen in the video below, which also features the new color schemes), the color swap was "not at all caused by Luigi accidentally entering the wrong manufacturing code."
"This new color swap will be remembered alongside other such innovations as jelly and peanut butter, or roll and rock," Nintendo said in a statement along with the reveal of the new designs.

Why Bloodstained Was Delayed to 2018
At the start of September, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a new Metroidvania game funded through Kickstarter last year, was delayed to 2018. Director Koji Igarashi, most famously known for his work as the creator of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, said he needed additional developer support in order to complete the game and reach his quality standards. Earlier today, Iga announced that he's partnering with 505 Games. The publisher is the newest partner in the saga to create Bloodstained. The record-setting campaign pulled in over $5.5 million USD and became the highest funded game project in the crowdfunding site's history.
Sony: PSVR Is ‘Step One in a Very Long Journey’
Future versions of PlayStation VR are almost certainly on the horizon, as SIE Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden strongly suggested that Sony is already working on improved versions of its upcoming VR headset.
When asked whether or not PlayStation fans can expect future iterations of PSVR, Layden told IGN, "we are constantly iterating and innovating our hardware almost the minute that
delivered the first," citing Sony's 21-year history of continually improving the PlayStation platform.
"When you deliver unit 'A,' you know 'A Prime' is already in design," the Sony exec explained. "You can look at the first generation of the product and see the future about where you want to go," he added, highlighting the fact that "there are certain technologies that we need to incorporate" as well as "certain technologies that don't exist yet."
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Gets a Publisher
505 Games has signed on to publish Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, producer Koji Igarashi announced today in an update on the game's Kickstarter page.
Speaking in an announcement video, Igarashi explained 505 and its "vast marketing power" will be working with his small team to bring Bloodstained to more players. 505 has also published games such as Abzu, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, and Payday 2.
Developed by Inti Creates, Bloodstained is a 2.5D action adventure game, directed and produced by Igarashi, whose past works include the critically acclaimed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and other titles in the Castlevania series. Bloodstained will also feature the work of Castlevania composer Michiru Yamane.

The theme of "legacy" is woven into many of its facets: the villain Prometheus is a result of the Green Arrow's actions, the flashbacks will finally set the stage for the Oliver viewers met in Season 1 and Arrow's team will include new recruits who have been inspired by Star City's resident superhero.
