Death Stranding: Everything You Missed in the New Trailer
In the beginning of the new Death Stranding teaser, we get an opening very similar to its reveal trailer from E3 2016: a panning shot of dead sea creatures scattered around in the mud. This time, we get a much clearer shot of the strands of black wire running across the sand and directly into the abdomens of a number of dead crabs.
In an interview at E3 this year, game director Hideo Kojima told IGN that Death Stranding will be played not with “sticks” like in most games — guns or other weapons — but “ropes.” We’ll see this manifest quite literally later in the trailer, but for now the wired-up crustaceans act as cryptic foreshadowing. They also call to mind Gyo, Junji Ito’s sci-fi horror manga about an invasion of technobiologically reanimated sea creatures.
How Multiplayer Influences Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Campaign
According to Mass Effect: Andromeda Game Director Mac Walters, the new Mass Effect game's multiplayer and campaign are being developed as "a more cohesive experience."
"We knew that multiplayer would be a big part of Andromeda, and so early on we really coupled those two together: the single player and the multiplayer to make sure there's a more cohesive experience," Walters told IGN following the 2016 Game Awards. "From a pure minute-to-minute, second-to-second gameplay experience, the multiplayer really drives it. That's where you see a lot of the action. It's a lot more fast-paced."
It was a creative decision that has ties back to Mass Effect 3. Walters cites that game as an opportunity where Bioware "used the multiplayer as a means to improve the combat that we had." "Working on multiplayer in ME3 really helped sort of crystalize what our combat experience is like," he said, "so we started there and wanted to expand it."

Harry Potter Stage Show May Come to Broadway in 2018
The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the stage play that tells the story of Harry, Ron, and Hermione's children, are in the "final stages" of talks to bring the show to Broadway beginning in the spring of 2018.
Announced on Pottermore, plans to bring Cursed Child to New York are currently underway, with talks already ongoing to bring the show to life in a "totally transformed" Lyric Theatre, which currently hosts the Cirque du Soleil Paramour show. The Cursed Child,
, opened in London's West End earlier this year.
The multi-million dollar renovation plans would alter the theater to accommodate 1,500 attendants rather than its current 1,900 in order to allow the show's producers to properly bring the stage show's intricate set design to life.
Rogue One Easter Eggs Will Feature Familiar Monsters
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards has revealed a couple of easter eggs hidden in the film, both of which feature monsters completely unrelated to the Star Wars universe.
During the latest episode of The Star Wars Show, Edwards said there are paintings of a few iconic monsters that can be found in the cave of Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), including Godzilla.
"One of them is of the creatures that were in my first film, called Monsters, and then there’s some MUTOs and Godzilla," he said. "I didn’t ask for it, they just did it as a joke. I came in one day and spotted it in the middle of a take."

Former Star Trek Discovery showrunner Bryan Fuller is no longer involved with the CBS All Access series.
In October, CBS confirmed that Fuller had taken a step back from the revived Trek series due to scheduling issues. But now, while speaking with Newsweek, Fuller has stated that he's not working on Star Trek Discovery in any capacity anymore. He still has an executive producer credit, though, and he wrote the story arc for the inaugural season as well as the first two episodes.
