Danganronpa 3 Coming to PS4, Vita in the West

At PlayStation Experience today, Sony confirmed that Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will come to PS4 and Vita in the West in 2017.

A trailer promised showed off new locations, characters, and mini games.

At TGS, Sony announced that Danganronpa V3 will also launch in 2017 in Japan and features a female protagonist for the first time in the main series. Danganronpa 3 was first revealed during last year’s TGS and previously announced for 2016 alongside an anime, which began airing earlier this year.

Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami Coming to the West

Both Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami were confirmed for the West at the 2016 PlayStation Experience.

Yakuza Kiwami is expected sometime in summer 2017, and Yakuza 6 in early 2018. Kiwami is an HD remake of the original Yakuza and was first announced at TGS 2015 along with Yakuza 6.

Parappa, LocoRoco, Patapon Remasters Coming to PS4

During Sony's PlayStation Experience 2016 keynote, Shuhei Yoshida announced that Parappa the Rapper, LocoRoco and Patapon are all being remastered for PlayStation 4.

All three games will feature improved graphics with 4K support on PlayStation 4 Pro.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Parappa the Rapper, a demo for the game will be available today via the PlayStation Store.

New Resident Evil 7 Demo and Trailer Revealed

A new Resident Evil 7 demo, "Banned Footage DLC," will be available later today on PSN, playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and with PlayStation VR.

Sony's Shelby Cox took the stage to announce the news at this weekend's PlayStation Experience, noting that this final demo for the upcoming Resident Evil 7 is a "massive update."

A new Resident Evil 7 demo also debuted, showing more of the bayou farmhouse where the game takes place and a few glimpses at the enemies (including the Baker family seen in past trailers and demos) that you'll be up against.

Akuma Comes to Street Fighter 5 This Month

During the opening ceremony of PSX 2016, Sony revealed Akuma will be coming to Street Fighter 5 December 20.

Akuma is available as part of an upcoming character pack for Street Fighter 5. The character pack includes 5 new characters.

During the event, Capcom revealed the next entry in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.

Knack 2 Announced

At PlayStation Experience today, Sony announced Knack 2.

Gameplay showed multiple Knacks running around together in co-op, and Sony's Shuhei Yoshida described the sequel as "a game for everyone," from casual to hardcore players. No other details were revealed.

The original Knack launched in November 2013 alongside PlayStation 4. A sequel has been rumored since earlier this year.

Wipeout Omega Collection to Be Released in 2017

A new Wipeout is coming to PlayStation 4, Sony announced at the 2016 Playstation Experience.

Wipeout Omega Collection collects three games: Wipeout HD, Wipeout Fury, and Wipeout 2048. The last Wipeout game was released for the PlayStation Vita back in 2012.

All previous Wipeout games were developed by Sony Liverpool, a studio that Sony closed in August 2012.

Aquaman Release Date Announced

The solo Aquaman film in the DC extended universe will be released in theaters on October 5, 2018, Warner Bros. revealed today.

Originally set for a July 2018 release, Deadline reports that Aquaman will debut in theaters a few months later, with Jason Momoa returning in the title role after his cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice this year and his role in Justice League next year.

Furious 7 and The Conjuring director James Wan is helming the project, with Willem Defoe set to play Vulko in both Aquaman and Justice League. IGN spoke to Wan earlier this year about the tone of the film in comparison to Batman v Superman.
