When I joined IGN as PC editor, I knew I had to build myself the perfect review machine. A PC that was strong enough to run any game I could throw at it, but not so strong that I wouldn’t be able to tell when performance issues or poor optimization were afoot.

With that balance in mind, I put together my ideal list for a powerful but not unrealistic PC that I could use to review and highlight as many great games as I could find for you. Then, I filled it to the brim with infinity mirrors and LEDs to make it look as cool as possible, because why not?

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Dev Announces New Switch Game

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth developer Nicalis has announced its new horror-themed game, Knight Terrors, which will be released for Nintendo Switch on October 24.

This arcade-style side-scroller, which is being developed by Nicalis and FreakZone Games, sees players control a mysterious suit of armor known as The Knight, who battles with a sword and can fly with his blood-red wings. For a look at the game in action, check out the trailer below:

In Knight Terrors, players will race through countrysides to battle all sorts of ghouls, flaming skulls, and plenty of other ghastly enemies in procedurally generated levels. The game features simple two-button controls, sprite graphics, power-ups, high score tracking, and multiple unlockable game modes. You'll have to avoid spiked pits, and it'll be "game over" for The Knight if he takes three hits or allows three enemies to pass.

Thor: Ragnarok Begins a Three-Movie Arc for Hulk

Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo informed IGN during a recent interview that Thor: Ragnarok is the beginning of a three-movie story arc for the giant, green Avenger, one that will follow Bruce Banner as he faces profound questions about his alter ego and changes to his powers.

I asked Ruffalo how the Hulk -- who runs on anger and provocation -- can remain the Hulk on Sakaar, where he's been living comfortably as a gladiatorial champion and beloved celebrity in the two years since last being seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. As Ruffalo explained, "The rules don't apply anymore. That's what's so confounding to Banner and frightening. That's kind of the exciting progression of the Banner/Hulk relationship moving forward."

Titanfall Dev Respawn Announces Oculus Rift VR Game

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment announced it's working on an Oculus Rift VR game.

As detailed on a recent blog post and via a short announcement trailer, which you can view below, the game is slated for release in 2019 and is some sort of a shooter.

However, not much else about the project is currently known, including a name. Also, it's neither Star Wars nor Titanfall-related.

Director Peter Hirschmann called emotion "the most intense" part of making a game in VR.

"While you know you’re wearing a headset, your brain processes VR on an emotional level," he said, adding "it’s all kinds of awesome."

Wrestling Wrap Up: Heel Sami Zayn is Just What We Need

It's been a big week in WWE, what with them introducing the Sister Abigail snapchat filter (with Cookie Puss voice modulator), the Shield reuniting just in time to see the s*** out of some new shirts, Sami Zayn making that sweet sweet heel turn at Hell in a Cell, and Baron Corbin getting his biggest win ever with a clean victory over AJ.

What I'm going to need though first, is for whoever the .giffer is for WWE social to put a quick stop to...whatever this is.

Destiny 2 Patch Aims to Fix PS4 Crashes

Bungie has released a patch to address the crashing issues PS4 players are experiencing in Destiny 2.

"Hotfix 1.0.3.2 is now available, which will address crashes experienced when loading into the Tower," the developer announced in a post on its official Twitter support account. The same information regarding the patch can be found of Bungie's official website.

Last month, Bungie and Sony publicly acknowledged a crashing issue in Destiny 2 for PlayStation 4 players and said they were working to resolve the issue. A couple weeks later, Bungie confirmed it was still working with Sony to get to the bottom of the issue and come up with a fix.

Sarah Silverman Wants to Connect Us Through Comedy

Comedian Sarah Silverman is out to unify the nation with laughter on her new weekly Hulu series, I Love You, America, premiering Thursday, October 12th. In an attempt to connect with un-like-minded people, Silverman will travel the country and converse with those who oppose her politics and views - all in the name of comedy.

This isn't going to be "gotcha comedy" though, as Silverman explained to IGN. "It's not 'We're smart and they're dumb and look how we edited it because we're right and they're wrong'," she explained, back at the summer TCA press tour. "I just don't think that changes minds. I mean, there are shows like that which are appointment television for me because they're brilliant because I think it helps shape young minds. And it informs people. But that's just not what this is. Hopefully the comedy isn't going to be at the expense of people who have a different ideology than me."

Oculus Rift Gettng Permanent Price Cut, Stand-Alone Unit

Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg revealed a new Oculus headset today during the Oculus Connect keynote speech.

The stand-alone headset, called Oculus Go, is coming out sometime next year, according to the official announcement. Oculus also announced its Rift headset will be $399 going forward.

The Oculus Go headset separates itself from solutions like the Samsung Gear VR in that it doesn't require a phone to work. It's truly stand-alone, making it what Zuckerberg calls the "most accessible VR headset ever."

Back in March, the Oculus Rift and Touch controller bundle had a price cut putting it below $500, and in July went on sale for $399. That price includes the Touch controllers, and is permanent.
