Star Wars Rebels Follows Up Tragedy With Triumph

Warning: this article contains spoilers for the most recent episodes of Star Wars Rebels!

Last week, Star Wars Rebels shifted in a somber direction as Kanan Jarrus made the ultimate sacrifice in order to save his family (and score a significant blow against the Empire in the process). This week, our heroes finished grieving for their fallen comrade and took up a new mission against the Empire. And in the process, they encountered a familiar face from seasons past - Ahsoka Tano.

A prominent player in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka more recently resurfaced during Season 2 of Rebels. There, she aided Kanan and the rest in their battles against the Sith Inquisitors. Ahsoka's character arc reached its dramatic climax in the Season 2 finale, as she dueled Darth Vader and learned that it was her former master, Anakin Skywalker, underneath that fearsome armor. Vader himself escaped the ruins of the Sith temple, but Ahsoka's fate remained unclear up until tonight's new episodes.

But while this issue serves as a promising start to King and artist Mikel Janin's latest collaboration, it also highlights a particular problem with Poison Ivy. She may well be the most inconsistently written character in DC's Batman comics lately.

The deal would apparently have included a $40 million fund for Weinstein's victims - although Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called into question whether that fund would have materialised, based on sale documents he'd reviewed.
