Metal Gear Survive to Receive Co-op DLC
Konami is rolling out Metal Gear Survive co-op missions next month, while both daily and weekly missions are now live.
The co-op DLC will consist of Rescue Missions - a brand new mission type - due out on an unspecified date in March. The mode will have players team up to rescue soldiers in need of help.
"Cooperate and coordinate with your squad to go rescue soldiers seeking for help," reads Konami's press release. "Compared to Salvage Missions, those missions will require a whole new level of cooperation and team spirit."
Meanwhile, the daily and weekly missions will drop "more rewards and have special battle conditions" to spice up gameplay with different strategies.
Star Wars Rebels Follows Up Tragedy With Triumph
Warning: this article contains spoilers for the most recent episodes of Star Wars Rebels!
Last week, Star Wars Rebels shifted in a somber direction as Kanan Jarrus made the ultimate sacrifice in order to save his family (and score a significant blow against the Empire in the process). This week, our heroes finished grieving for their fallen comrade and took up a new mission against the Empire. And in the process, they encountered a familiar face from seasons past - Ahsoka Tano.
A prominent player in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka more recently resurfaced during Season 2 of Rebels. There, she aided Kanan and the rest in their battles against the Sith Inquisitors. Ahsoka's character arc reached its dramatic climax in the Season 2 finale, as she dueled Darth Vader and learned that it was her former master, Anakin Skywalker, underneath that fearsome armor. Vader himself escaped the ruins of the Sith temple, but Ahsoka's fate remained unclear up until tonight's new episodes.
Batman’s Latest Story Highlights Poison Ivy’s Identity Crisis
Writer Tom King is over 40 issues deep into his Batman saga, and there are still numerous Batman villains that have yet to take the spotlight. Batman #41 ticks another item off the checklist by focusing on Poison Ivy's latest plot to overthrow the destructive world of men. But while this issue serves as a promising start to King and artist Mikel Janin's latest collaboration, it also highlights a particular problem with Poison Ivy. She may well be the most inconsistently written character in DC's Batman comics lately.

Tony Hawk No Longer Working With Activision
In case it wasn't already clear that the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is all but dead, the man on the box has confirmed that he's no longer working with series publisher Activision.
Speaking on Twitter, Tony Hawk responded to fans asking for remasters or complaining about the current games by explaining that he is no longer a part of the series:

The Weinstein Company to File For Bankruptcy
Beleaguered film studio The Weinstein Company will file for bankruptcy after it failed to sell its assets to new investors.
As reported by the L.A. Times, a proposed $500 million deal collapsed after the New York attorney general's office brought a civil rights lawsuit against The Weinstein Company.
The deal would apparently have included a $40 million fund for Weinstein's victims - although Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called into question whether that fund would have materialised, based on sale documents he'd reviewed.
The board released a statement after it became clear that no compromise would be made with the potential buyers:
