Update: Overwatch Posts a Second Teaser, Possibly for Hero 28

Update 06/26/18: The Overwatch account has now posted a second teaser set in the same location as the first - the difference being that a gigantic, rolling... something now rolls through the shot.

Life Is Strange 2 Prequel Captain Spirit Gets Release Dates

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit now has global release dates. Developer Dontnod Entertainment tweeted today that the free Life Is Strange sequel will release June 25 in North America and Europe and June 26 in Australia.

Captain Spirit was first announced last week during Microsoft's E3 media showcase. Set three years after Life Is Strange, Captain Spirit tells the story of a 10-year-old boy named Chris who either is or believes he is the titular superhero — it's not clear which is the case.

Although Chris is new to the series, the choices players make for him will affect the events of the upcoming Life Is Strange 2. Still, the game tells a self-contained story, so playing the first Life Is Strange won't be necessary for anyone wanting to take advantage of a free game offer.

Though Gilligan did not specifically say which character will be added, he did promise fans will be pleased by the addition. Gilligan also teased a darker season for Better Call Saul.

"Season 4 is so good,” Gilligan said. “It gets darker, it gets richer. It’s still got funny in it, but on the Venn diagram of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, the overlap in the center is getting bigger and bigger.”
