As both a PC and console gamer, I've spent more time than I'd like to admit considering what is the best furniture to support my gamer physique while I'm enjoying my hobby. Sure, a lot of attention gets paid to picking out the right chair for PC gaming since you have to sit right in front of your monitor, but console gamers can spread out a bit, and shouldn't just assume their only option is the couch. Even though console gaming is certainly made for chilling out and relaxing in the living room, there’s still a whole world of unique furniture out there just waiting to coddle your backside as you relax with your controller. Whether you’re looking for something small to fit in an apartment or a customized chair with built-in speakers, this handy list represents the culmination of years of dedicated research on my part. I present to you – the best chairs for console gaming.

Ratchet and Clank Began As ‘A Hail Mary’ For Insomniac

Ratchet and Clank didn't start out as the Lombax/robot pair we've come to know and love.

In this month's episode of IGN Unfiltered, Ryan McCaffrey sat down with Insomniac CEO Ted Price and discussed the origins of one of the studio's most iconic franchises, Ratchet and Clank.

“Ratchet and Clank was sort of a ‘Hail Mary’ for us," Price said, who went on to explain the studio's mindset, post-Spyro. "We loved Spyro," Price said, but in order to engage with the studio’s growing audience, Insomniac wanted to create “something that was a little more mature.”

The studio began working on a linear adventure game which featured "a girl who had a stick." The appropriately named "Girl With A Stick" was set in a world with magic, "big lumbering beasts," and a darker tone which set it apart from previous Insomniac games.

Hulu’s New Horror Show Looks Like Riverdale Meets Final Destination

All September long, IGN is spotlighting the best TV coming your way in the 2018-2019 season. Today we've got an exclusive sneak peek at the first season of Hulu's new horror-thriller series, Light as a Feather. The series is based on the popular Wattpad story of the same name by Zoe Aarsen. The story centers on 5 teenage girls, who, after playing the game, start dying off in the exact way that was predicted. All ten episodes will be available to stream on Hulu on October 12.

Before Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board was an upcoming TV series, you could find the game being played at children's sleepovers. The purpose of the ritual is to levitate the participant who is lying flat on their back after repeatedly chanting phrases like "She's looking ill" or "She is dying." Some instances involve members envisioning their own deaths. But what if those visions came true, and people actually started dying? Hulu's new series brings that chilling possibility to life.

Light spoilers for BoJack Horseman's previous seasons ahead. For more, check out our spoiler-free review of BoJack Horseman Season 5.

When Netflix’s BoJack Horseman first came out, it attracted a lot of instant fans because of the animal puns and obscure pop-culture references. But those fans quickly realized neither of those traits alone were the source of its strength. For a cartoon about anthropomorphic animals that lampoons the culture of celebrity worship and the entertainment industry itself, BoJack Horseman offers some of the most realistic portrayals of mental illness ever to grace the small screen.
