Netflix’s Stranger Things 3 Sets 4-Day Viewing Record

Netflix announced that, after four days of streaming service data, Stranger Things: Season 3 has been watched by 40.7 million "household accounts," while 18.2 million of them have already finished the entire new season.

Netflix confirmed the data on its Twitter account, indicating the 40.7 million accounts watching since the show's July 4 debut is a higher number than any other film or series in its first four days on the service.

It's worth noting that Netflix used the phrase "household accounts" to explain Stranger Things' success, which is different from its use of just the word "account" in announcements for past Netflix ratings successes like Sex Education or the word "members" for those who watched Season 1 of You. It's unclear if the change in wording denotes different measurements for each series or simply Netflix using similar phrasing to mean the same thing.

Thousands Sign Petition To Stop Selling Indie Games On This Controversial Digital Store

Almost 4,000 people have signed a Change.org petition asking controversial video games key reseller to stop selling indie games through its marketplace. The petition comes off the heels of a holiday weekend where G2A published a blog post attempting to defend itself against critics, which in turn spurned indie devs to launch a new wave of criticism against the retailer, culminating in the online petition.

Indie games publisher No More Robots and its founder Mike Rose launched a petition on Change.org last week asking G2A to stop selling indie games. The petition was created as a response to G2A’s own blog post which claimed only 8% of sales on G2A are made from indie games.

Jesus Rolls: Big Lebowski Spinoff Starring John Turturro Set for 2020

A spinoff of The Big Lebowski called Jesus Rolls and starring John Turturro himself has been confirmed for a 2020 release date by Screen Media, according to ComicBook.

The movie is being written and directed by Turturro and will tell a new story that features his classic character of Jesus Quintana and what he's been up to in the time following The Big Lebowski.

As rumored previously after the Stella Artois commercial that premiered during the 2019 Super Bowl, this is not a sequel to The Big Lebowski, and both Jeff Bridges and John Goodman will not be in the movie, nor will the Coen Brothers have any hand in the production, although they did give Turturro permission to use his character in a spinoff movie.

Watt's revealed his pick in an interview with Uproxx. "Oh, I would love Kraven. It’s just the trick of how do you do Kraven in a movie?” he said.

Watts also downplayed the idea of pivoting to characters like Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn, noting a desire to focus on villains who haven't yet appeared in a Spider-Man movie.
