Even though the X-Men film rights didn’t belong to Marvel Studios when Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were being made, that doesn’t mean the Russo brothers don’t have any ideas on how things could go down if Marvel’s Merry Mutants were a part of the story. While playing a game on IGN’s Up At Noon show where the Russos were asked to choose who from a group of fictional characters would be dusted by Thanos’ snap, they made an exciting yet tragic choice in regards to the X-Men.

After considering who to kill on a team lineup consisting of Gambit, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops and Rogue, director Joe Russo used a marker to strike out everyone on the team except Wolverine.

The Hero Might Be Smash Ultimate’s Most Polarizing Character Yet

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a fantastic concoction of crossovers, one that excels at creating movesets for its characters based off of nods to their first appearances, easter eggs, and lore from the original games. Every moveset is unique (excluding echofighters), and each player’s styles and tactics clash like orange juice and toothpaste to create match-ups that can push entire crowds to the edge of their seats at tournaments like EVO.

Hard drives might be falling into obscurity as solid-state drives get bigger, faster and cheaper, but they still have their place in the world for backing up data. Snake Eyes: Henry Golding in Talks for G.I. Joe Spin-Off

Paramount is developing a new G.I. Joe spin-off movie centered around Snake Eyes, and Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding is reportedly in early talks to play the titular ninja character.

The news comes from Variety, whose sources report Paramount is working to find a new direction for the G.I. Joe franchise. Snake Eyes previously appeared in 2009's G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and 2013's G.I. Joe: Retaliation, where he was played by Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode I). As with last year's Transformers prequel Bumblebee, Paramount looks to be shifting focus to smaller, character-driven spin-offs of its Hasbro properties.

With 2019 coming to a close and awards season in full steam, let's look back at all the films that have wowed us so far this year.

IGN rates movies on a scale of 0-10. On this scale, any film rated 9.0-9.9 is considered “amazing” and anything that gets the coveted 10 rating is declared a “masterpiece”.

And we don’t give out 10s to just anything, either. In fact, not one motion picture has earned a 10/10 rating from us so far this year.

But listed below are all the films -- released theatrically between January and now -- that our team of critics have ranked an 8.0 or higher.

Get a Close-Up Look at the Sega Genesis Mini Along With the Start Screens for All 42 Games

The initial Sega Genesis Mini announcement filled me with a strange sense of dread. It's not the first time the 16-bit Genesis got the mini retro console treatment, and the PlayStation Classic completely failed to live up to anyone's expectations.

However, Sega really put its heart into the Genesis Mini, the official, first-party mini console celebrating 30 years of Genesis goodness. Not only did it announce an excellent line-up of games for the system, it also decided to add 2 bonus games never released in the west, bringing the total to 42 in all.

Japan's legendary M2 handled the software for the Sega Genesis Mini, and the attention to detail that made M2 famous is fully present here. The menu music is an original creation written by Streets of Rage composer Yuzo Koshiro and created using the original Sega Genesis soundchip, and it will stick in your head all day. It's wonderful.
