Apple has announced an new entry-level iPad at its press conference from the Steve Jobs Theater in the Apple campus in Cupertino, California.
The new 10.2-inch iPad is meant to replace its aging 9.7-inch iPad, which was announced for students earlier last year. The new screen size fits neatly above its predecessor, but without getting to quite the same size as its 10.5-inch and 11-inch Pro siblings.
With the new display Apple is promising Retina panel with nearly 3.5 million pixels that offers 3.3x more pixel, 3.7x wider viewing angles than the previous 9.7-inch model.
The new iPad 10.2-inch also packs a A10 Fusion chip, which is the same exact processor in Apple's current entry-level iPad so we wouldn't expect it to be any faster.

Best Friend Forever Is the Dating Sim/Dog Care Simulator I Never Knew I Needed
Best Friend Forever quickly won me over with its unique combination of dating sim, visual novel, and pet care simulator gameplay. While that isn’t so surprising considering the game includes an adorable Shiba Inu named Cheeseball as a mascot, I did come away surprised, after spending some time with it at PAX West 2019, at how instantly charming the rest of Best Friend Forever is.
Of course, that lovable pup Cheeseball is the star of the show, but Best Friend Forever’s funny, self-aware writing makes a lot of the non-Cheeseball moments just as charming. The set-up goes like this: fresh off a bus in the new city of Rainbow Bay, a few overly enthusiastic radio hosts turn my character onto a new dating app made for dog owners. The only problem...I don’t have a dog. Thankfully, after signing up via an amusing and somewhat intrusive Q&A, I quite quickly also find out about an adoption opportunity going on in town and am rapidly brought together with my faded new friend, Cheeseball.
Even Civilization 6 Is Getting a Battle Royale Mode
Civilization 6 is getting a battle royale mode. That’s right, the 4x strategy game is venturing into last player standing territory with Civilization 6: Red Death, and it’s available right now.
In a battle royale game, a large group of players drop onto a map and must collect supplies – loot, armor, items, etc. – as a circle slowly encroaches on the map and shrinks the playable area. Civilization 6, surprisingly, is translating many of these mechanics for its own game.
In Civilization 6: Red Death, 12 players will battle to be the last surviving civilization. You can choose from among a set of apocalyptic-themed factions, each with their own in-game advantages. The faction will then spawn inside a “Safe Zone” with a starting Civilian, Infantry, and Machine Gun unit.

“I Love You, Colonel Sanders” is the name of the game. According to the Steam page, you’re a student at a culinary school, and your classmate is the Colonel himself, because of course.
