If you've had your TV for more than a few years, it may be missing a number of features that are common in current televisions, like 4K and HDR. And with most new games taking advantage of these features thanks to the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, the games you're playing now could look a lot better with a newer TV. Thankfully, a number of feature-rich televisions are on sale right now, making it a good time to update the most important part of your entertainment center.

Former Head of Sonic Team Reacts to Alleged Movie Leak

Update 3/5: Former head of Sonic Team and lead programmer of 1991’s Sonic the Hedgehog Yuji Naka has commented on the alleged leaked images of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film, and he appears to be less than impressed.

Naka reacted to the images on Twitter, and said (via translation) "When the unofficial image of the Sonic movie comes out, I think that it is leaking strategically, but it is not good because it will go to the IP of Sonic

when it becomes a topic in a bad direction.”

He also noted that it’s strange Sonic’s hands are made of white fur, saying "It is shocking that his bare hands are white.” In a separate tweet, he noted that it’s important for designers to look at Sonic’s body as a whole, and that these alleged images could use some more balance.

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn Being 3DS Exclusive Is a Mistake

The original Kirby’s Epic Yarn was a blast when it came out on the Wii in 2010, and its new Extra rerelease has brought along some neat new modes and additions worth seeing. But what those updates don’t include is a clear reason why Extra Epic Yarn isn’t also coming to Switch. As much as it pains me to write this, Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is a great game trapped on an outdated system.

This is a port of a nine-year-old console game arriving on an eight-year-old mobile platform. Kirby has shown up to a party that everyone has already left, standing around wondering who inhaled all the Maxim Tomatoes.

I've been playing Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn and, despite still being fun, the 3DS port has a few key missteps:

Revealed in an exclusive Season 8 slideshow of images from EW, McCann says of his character “There will be a chance of squaring up to his brother and facing those demons.”

In an interview with CBS News' 60 Minutes, Microsoft's head of 343 Industries, Halo's Bonnie Ross, talked about the challenges of gender equality in the games industry and solutions to bring more women on board in development.
