Realistic Popeye Is Now a Terrifying Collectible Action Figure

Popeye is a pretty odd looking chap, but he fits in well enough with the other weird-looking characters in the world of the 1930's cartoon. So if you haven't seen the 'realistic' Popeye images floating around the internet, you should consider yourself lucky. You should also prepare yourself, because Mezco Toys realistic Popeye figure is finally available for pre-order and it'll haunt your dreams for eternity.

The figure is equal parts horrendous and fantastic, with an amazing amount of detail. Popeye comes with two heads, described as a "stern glare" and "salty glare", as well two cans of his precious spinach (one open and one closed), three corncob pipes with smoke, and three without.

Warner Bros. Becomes Hitman Publisher

Warner Bros. has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Io Interactive to publish Hitman, and will release Hitman: The Definitive Edition on May 18.

Last year, Square Enix withdrew its ownership of Io, but the Danish developer retained the Hitman license.

Warner Bros.' announcement currently only concerns the existing first season of the latest Hitman game, but with the announcement of a new Hitman game on the horizon, this could indicate a future relationship too.

Triple H Reveals NXT’s Shiny New American Championship Title

This weekend is WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, and the annual NXT TakeOver is back, with Triple H revealing the first ever WWE NXT North American Title belt.

The NXT TakeOver event was introduced in 2016 at WresteMania 32 and this year's event will see a ladder match with Killian Dain, EC3, Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan, and Ricochet duking it out to be named the first NXT North American Champion.

Triple H unveiled the brand spanking new belt in a tweet along with the names of the potential champions.

Deadpool Auctioning A Pink Superhero Suit to Fight Cancer

Ryan Reynolds has teamed up with online fundraising platform Omaze to auction off a pink Deadpool suit, with the proceeds going to LetsFCancer.

To be in with a chance of winning the custom-made suit from 20th Century Fox, and contribute to a good cause, you can click here to donate between $10 and $5,000 to buy yourself a stack of entries into the final draw.

PUBG Dev Plans to Disable Keyboard and Mouse Support for Console

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds console players that use third party devices like Xim to play with a keyboard and mouse won't be able to do so forever.

When asked whether there were any plans to curb console players' use of keyboard and mouse in the game, PUBG's community coordinator Dan "RoboDanjal" tweeted that they have been "gathering in-game information regarding third party device usage over the past few months.

"Although usage of these devices is statistically very low, fair gameplay is core to our experience, and we will be communicating our plan to curb the use of these devices soon."

Mark Hamill Fine With Digitally Recreated Luke Skywalker in Future Star Wars Movies

Mark Hamill is totally fine with being digitally re-created in any future Star Wars movies.

Speaking to RadioTimes, the Luke Skywalker actor said that he would "absolutely" be fine with being digitally recreated a la Peter Cushing in Rogue One, or recast with a younger actor a la Alden Ehrenreich in Solo.

“Well already I told my family ‘Absolutely – thumbs up!’” he said.

“But it is a question of propriety really. I’m sure they had to go to the Cushing estate and get their permission.”

Stranger Things Creators Accused of Stealing Story Ideas

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have been accused of stealing ideas for Stranger Things from a short film called Montauk.

Charlie Kessler, the director of the aforementioned short film, filed a lawsuit today, Deadline reports. In it, Kessler claims he pitched the Duffers his concept for Montauk in 2014 at a party during the Tribeca Film Festival and sometime later presented to them "the script, ideas, story and film," which he says they allegedly then used when developing Strangers Things.

Giant Marvel Exhibition Opens at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture This Month

An expansive new Marvel exhibition is opening at Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture this month, showcasing more than 300 artefacts across Marvel comics, the MCU, and other media.

"Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes" celebrates 10 years of the MCU, with an eye to Marvel's 80th anniversary next year. According to a press release, the exhibition will showcase some of Marvel's "most iconic and sought-after pages, costumes and props," many of which have never-before been seen by the public.

“Our show takes us from the origins of the Marvel Universe to the present, providing a chance to see some of the rarest and most precious objects to have survived from the past 80 years of pop culture history,” says curator Ben Saunders.
